About work and self-love
Last year I graduated from the production department of VGIK and found a job in a specialty that, for a graduate of my university, I consider it an achievement. Now I'm part of the Stratosphere team - this is a production that makes cool modern videos for the Internet. Our goal is to define and form the language of video on the Internet, as it should be in 2017 and beyond. I am very glad that they invited me to their place: now it’s just that there is no time to lie at home. I like this rhythm - the only way I feel that I live.
I have long gone to loving my appearance: for years, probably, until eighteen I avoided my reflection. Recently I found an old diary in which I describe in detail all the "flaws" of my body - then it was a tragedy. Thanks to the body positive for the fact that now we understand that we can be completely different. He helped me to accept myself, and now I laugh out loud, reading this list from 2010. Almost all the features of the exterior are still with me, but my attitude towards them has changed.
About care
My care is a classic "cleansing + moisturizing", sometimes peeling. I really love the telegram channel don't touch my face. Adel tells a lot of useful information that I try to use: for example, when I refused to wash with soap, my skin became much better. Over the past year I have developed two habits, which I follow tirelessly. The first is to brush my teeth in the evening, even if I am very tired, I cannot fall asleep without it. The second is to wash off all cosmetics, even if I came home only in the morning, from a party.
There are some habits that I just work on. For example, I try not to slouch: I am not very tall, and slouching makes me even smaller. I would like to walk with straightened shoulders and more exercise. My dream is to completely abandon coffee and sugar - I already did it, and my body felt great. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to remove sugar from the diet, since it is contained almost everywhere. I still can not check and correct makeup during the day - until I learned to look in a small mirror because of old difficulties with taking on my appearance. So I often look in grunge style - it's good that it is in trend.
About well-being
Self-care is not only a room twice a week and a moisturizer at bedtime. It is important to monitor your internal state. For example, a personal diary helps me in this. Reflection is the motto of my life. When you paint situations, emotions and thoughts, it really helps to understand yourself. Well re-read them after some time and notice the changes that can be difficult to track on the go. It's also just fun - sometimes it's nice to find a diary entry for some event that I didn't even remember. It is also important for me to constantly seek inspiration and throw something beautiful into the firebox of my brain. This could be a movie, books, videos, pictures on Pinterest, emotions, exhibitions - anything. Taking care of yourself means constantly evolving and learning something new about the world.
About make-up
I love and hate the variety of cosmetics that is now. On the one hand, the choice is huge, but on the other - in order to find one’s own, one has to try a lot of products. I like how the world is changing now and how the attitude of people towards cosmetics in general is changing. Why should others dictate how we look?
Before coming to balance, I rushed from one extreme to another. During school, I was against the system. I denied any cosmetics and, being in the third grade, I even argued with my older sister that I wouldn’t paint myself until after high school. I lost the argument - right away my pinpoint experiments with makeup began. Once I put on my blue eyebrow makeup pencil and could not wash them off for several days - so I went with blue eyebrows. Now it’s not surprising anyone, but then it looked amazing.
When I started to make up, I became addicted to makeup. I could not go out without black shadows and mascara regardless of how I feel. It got to the point that I even painted at the cottage. It seemed to me that without makeup I simply have no right to exist. Once I decided to experiment and came to the university unpainted. Contrary to my expectations, no one noticed - after that I began to quietly go out without makeup. I liked the look of my face, and now I am painted in the mood.
My attitude to cosmetics and personal care was greatly changed by makeup artist Gev, the author of the superMakeupSuka channel, when he invited me to be a model in his individual lesson. I saw how you can use makeup on your face, and it just turned my life upside down. I began to be interested in and taking care of myself, and how to diversify makeup, not to be afraid of experiments, colors, lines. Now my favorite make-up is the tone, eyebrows, blusher and lipstick of bright color. I think this is a modern classic.
About hairstyle
I was lucky: I have hair that does not require any styling. It is enough for me to dry them with the product and comb. Now I have a short haircut, and I like it a lot. Up to eighteen years old, I wore long hair, but once I went to Dublin on my own, I cut my hair short for the first time - this really changed my whole life. Six months later, in Amsterdam, I came to the master and said that with my hair you can do whatever you want - the stylist turned out to be brave and shaved my temples and the back of my head. Recently in Berlin, I realized that I could no longer wear my "signature" bob, and a friend cut off my short fringe - something that I had been afraid of all my life. It turned out that I was coming!
