RFW: Designer St. Bessarion about the past Fashion Week
The last season was a landmark for me, I did everything that was intended, one hundred percent.
The theme of my show was horses. I lived this story for two years, waiting for the right moment. I am fascinated by these strong and at the same time fragile animals, their beauty and elegance I associate only with women. The logical conclusion of the show was the installation: naked girls in horse heads with bridles and stylized saddles.
We begin to prepare for the new season, as soon as we finish the previous one. In general, we have five months to prepare the collection, and we all have time on time. Sometimes two weeks before the show, I already say: "Everything, point, the work is finished."
Sometimes the covers still happen: for example, last season I had the main dress behind the curtains, they just did not have time to change their clothes.
This season everything went perfectly. With just one unpleasant moment for me, from the Ahmadullina show, my friend came to me Natasha Goldenberg, she was not immediately found a place and she was forced to leave. It was very uncomfortable.
As for the schedule, the second season of Moscow Fashion Week puts at the same time a strong designer with me. Last season it was Kirill GassilinAs a result, at the end of the show, many of the guests got up and went to see me. This season, with a difference of half an hour - Alena Akhmadullina.
I am on friendly terms with Russian designers, among them are close friends for me, this Alexander Terekhov andVika Gazinskaya. We all do one thing.
