John Hill issued a zine about loving himself

"GUILTY PLEASURE" IS TRANSLATED AS A "SHAME OF PLEASURE". Frankly, we have long been not ashamed of things that like or are of interest - just a convenient phrase.

John Hill made the release of the A24 film company Zine - and its theme is unlikely to leave you indifferent. In the preface, the actor and director talks about the photo, which was placed on the cover of the magazine: he is fourteen in the picture, he is terribly worried about his weight and appearance and really wants to be accepted by his peers. According to him, Hill understood how he was touched by ridicule and comments about what he looked like, only while working on the directorial debut of the "Mid90s".

“I sincerely believe that everyone has a photograph from adolescence that they are ashamed of,” writes John. “I asked twelve people whom I admire and respect if this thought is close to them and how they love themselves.” In Zine, you will find interviews with Kim Gordon, Michael Seroy, Q-Tip, Bini Feldstein and other celebrities - all of them are built around what the photo they have chosen means to them.

The magazine will go on sale on October 15 - alas, not in Russia, but you can always use the services of intermediaries.
