Subtraction rules: How to make the actual makeup, removing one detail

Modern makeup tends to minimalism in everything: the details give way to bright details, the fashion for monochrome combinations is becoming more and more obvious, and now you can even skip any "mandatory" stage. Meanwhile, the absence of one or several seemingly important elements transforms the impression of makeup. We tell how to draw something grand on the face without using the whole arsenal of tools.
Do not highlight eyebrows
Such a technique is a new passion of many make-up artists, and this is not surprising: bright, almost absent eyebrows give the face an alien look, and colors and shapes in contrast with them look brighter and more interesting. If you have very bright eyebrows - do not add program volume and color, focus on the eyes or lips. For complex graphics on the eyes of such a "blank" base is also perfect.
Do not paint eyelashes
Even the most expensive mascara in some people invariably causes allergies, but you shouldn’t get upset - especially as modern makeup offers to do without it. Visually, you can “open” your eyes using only eyeliner, and bright shadows do not at all require the support of colored eyelashes: it is better to add a contrast or neutral tint to the mucous membrane. Dense shining textures in the makeup of the eyes also look great with unpainted eyelashes. And completely "bare" eyes, coupled with highlighted eyebrows and bright lip make-up instantly make the image modern.
Do not paint your lips
Despite the fact that the popular rule "paint your eyes - don't paint your lips" is no longer mandatory, dynamic and bold makeup can be completed with a balm. Virtually any lipstick, gloss or tint evens out the lips texture a little, so the decision to leave them “bare” gives the image more volume: attention stops at a minimum of accents, and complex and multi-layered eye makeup looks great in the company of “unfinished” elements.
Do not paint the eyelid
Eye make-up often does not think without staining the eyelid: why not try to leave this part open by focusing on other areas? Leave only the base or shadows of a neutral color on the moving eyelid, draw an arrow or feather over the crease, draw a line at the bottom - weight options, and they all look nontrivial.
Do not add color
It is not necessary to suffer with combinations: if you really like a monochrome make-up, choose dense textures that can give the most vivid results on the eyes and lips. Many modern cream shades and liquid lipsticks in this sense are quite in line with expectations. As a shadow, you can use rouge, as a rouge - lipstick. Gold, silver and other metallic shades are also good both in composition and separately.
Do not draw the outline
Watercolor, translucent, glossy textures on the lips look especially impressive, if you do not keep them in the contour, and gently blend within it or slightly going beyond them. Eye makeup can also be done without the tasks "emphasize" and "highlight": lonely points, strokes, soft lines are good. Even bright and persistent matte lipsticks can show themselves in a new way, if you drive them with your fingers - most often you get an effect similar to the one that gives tint, but the latter usually do not differ in the variety of shades.
Discard tone
Without an even, pure tone, it is difficult to imagine a make-up or a makeup created on a special occasion, but in daylight it is not necessary to wear another layer of makeup on the face. A concealer or inconspicuous cream will be quite enough to create a conditionally neutral background for a bright or unusual makeup. Do not be afraid to apply a highlighter or blusher on the “bare” skin, but it is better not to neglect the primer or other base product if you want your makeup to last a long time.
