Life hacking: 5 ways to concentrate in a minute

In a world of daily stress, fast food and a sedentary lifestyle There is nothing more valuable than wellness. How to quickly get in shape, cheer up and instantly feel better - tell our express instructions.

Not always we can afford to be scattered or unproductive - things are called. At times, I myself really want to concentrate and not be distracted by everything, but concentration is hampered by stress, unnecessary thoughts and a million urgent matters at once, and tips like “walk” and “take a break” sound like impermissible luxury. Temperament and mental characteristics do not change either for a minute or a month, but there are several simple ways to pull yourself together and take a sober look at a situation when time is running out.

Place your room or workplace. Often our anxieties and the desire to take control of anything spill over into a spontaneous cleaning - and sometimes it works. Distract yourself and at the same time clear the space around. The main thing - do not bring to fanaticism.

Keep your mobile phone out of sight. Until this device has become an additional organ, it is necessary to part with it from time to time. Notification notifications, perhaps, stimulate the production of dopamine, but are unlikely to help collect your thoughts.

Meditate - how and why, we have already told. You can close your eyes and watch your breath, or you can fix your eyes on any stationary object a few meters away from you and look at it without looking away. It is believed that the brain can solve only one task per unit of time, so there is hope that unnecessary thoughts will evaporate and you will understand what to do next.

Change the music. Or turn it on. Or turn it off. In general, pay attention to the sounds that surround you. Instead of a fun playlist, select a podcast, try apps with sounds of nature, look for suitable white noise. Absolutely unusual sounds or complete silence can return you to the resource state (there are earplugs for this).

Make a plan. Sometimes this is the only way not to go crazy in cases of excruciating procrastination or in difficult situations requiring an exit. Having prepared a list of actions, immediately proceed to the first paragraph. Having taken at least some measures, you will convince yourself of your own productivity, and, perhaps, anxiety will diminish.
