Permanent make-up art director of the brand, Nicolas Dezhenn, is able to ingeniously invent visual concepts - be it a case, the tool itself or the selection of colors. The Power of Color minimalist collection is built on a sudden balance of pink and orange - there are two declared shades, a tangerine lip balm and red-orange lipstick. Perhaps the most interesting novelty is the double liner, which simultaneously works with eyeliner and cream shadows, drawing a thin line of one color at the ciliary edge, and moving the eyelid with a different shade. It is necessary to adjust to the technique, but the tool and make-up with it look very entertaining.

Lucia Pika, the third year of driving makeup at Chanel, completely changed the mood of seasonal collections - and only for the better. Italians Kiko Milano usually love energetic color and brilliance, but the spring collection was made most delicate and watercolor: a gradient on blush, pastel brushes and a general feeling of weightlessness. An interesting is the tonal tool in the drops, which promises the ability to vary the degree of coverage, and dense vinyl lipsticks - such tools traditionally work out Kiko Milano very well. Everything is not easy with Korean brands, including with the definition of seasonality of collections - Be a Flower in Russia is declared as a spring limit, but the official website is silent on this. In any case, the newbies have a design that fits into the seasonal canons, and the purpose: the collection includes two basic but not dullly composed palettes of shadows and two couchons. The last It's Skin is positioned as a leveling base, but they sparkle like the most desperate highlighters - the brand suggests applying the tool with generous strokes to all areas reflecting light for the effect of moist healthy skin.

This time, the lover of large forms, Francois Nars, made the seasonal collection quite small, but bright and sonorous - only three means, but all interesting. The main star is the new Mosaic Glow Blush in a Fireclay shade: highlighter, bright coral blush and bronzer in one relief palette, which even a little touch will touch with a brush (but the pattern, apparently, will last for a long time). Matcha’s bright lime shades and a transparent smoothing lip balm are offered to the palette - in fact, nothing more is needed for sunny spring make-up.

MAC releases about fifty collections a year, so seasonal brand launches can be called conditional - as a rule, there are several of them, and for convenience the journalists consider the largest collection to be the “main” collection. The central launch of MAC this spring is perfect in its simplicity and performance of In Monochrome: the brand picked up six best-selling lipsticks and invented a complete make-up line for each of them (rouge, matte and shiny shadows, lip gloss and crumbly glitter). This, by the way, is not a new format for the brand - a few years ago, MAC launched the Shadescents, flavors dedicated to the main fondant shades (four of the six coincided with the current heroines of In Monochrome), and last year a collaboration with Puma came out.
