Useful, expensive and valuable is Rejina Pyo (Navy Wool Rebecca Wrap Skirt) skirt, bought in 2015. I tried it on at More is Live in Tbilisi - then five hundred euros was a very heavy amount for me. I could not even imagine that I could pay so much for a skirt. But she fell in love with her as much as seldom did. Day after day, I began to get used to this thought - that I can afford it, that it is just ok. These processes are described in detail in the "Free economy": over time, we get used to any amount for the desired product. The main thing - to sow the grain of thought.

A few months later, having received a fee in euros for an article in the French edition, I ordered it on the Internet. I was happy then, I was happy to receive it, I was happy these three years with it and I am still happy. It is made of thick dark blue wool, so it is impossible to walk in it except in the winter. Until the middle of the calf, wildly warm, perfect color, beautiful. I am so happy that I love her not a bit less than before. And I rarely can boast of such constancy. When I put on, I feel chic. I keep it carefully in a case in place for the most valuable things.

I think she is more dear to me than her money equivalent. This year I easily bought a My812 dress for thirty thousand rubles, without hesitation even five minutes. It was also love, but unlike the skirt that met suddenly, I dreamed about such a dress. And when she saw reality, she simply recognized her in it and took it away as soon as possible. I also keep it in a special place.

It is difficult to choose a favorite thing, almost every one is connected with a dear memory for me. But perhaps the most valuable purchase was the Acne Studios sweater - dark gray, fluffy, with a voluminous collar.

I bought a sweater by chance almost four years ago: during a walk I went into the UK Style and realized that I would not leave without him. Just then I received the first official salary - in fact, most of it went to buy. Usually I don’t do that, but that time I didn’t feel sorry for the money. Coming out of the store, I immediately put on a sweater. I am pleased to wear it now, on the darkest and dullest days.

Financial problems in the publishing house, where I then worked, became obvious to employees in the spring - then I began to postpone more. In the summer, what happened was unbearable, and I decided to quit. I had no specific plans, but the savings should have been enough for five months to live a modest life.

At the very last moment, before writing a statement, I was blocked, and I began to spend money at such a pace, as if I had millions in my pocket, and everything was superfluous. I made a bunch of small purchases, and the biggest waste was an order with Farfetch worth more than thirty thousand. The skirt of Rick Owens did not suit me, and I had to turn it in, but I left Jacquemus shoes with heels worth a third of my salary.

Now it seems to me reckless to lower half of the money for a week on a black day, when there is only two weeks left until the black day, but then it helped me a lot. I loved my work and the team very much, it was hard for me to leave, and I was not at all sure that I would quickly find a new place. It was still stressful with a lot of consequences, but when I entered my card details, none of this bothered me - I parted with money easily.

As I understand now, then it was important for me to feel that I was not preparing to go hungry and get into loans, that my financial situation would not be shaken. It really helped to relax - the last day at the old job was for me the happiest day of this summer. As a result, I was lucky: now I have everything well and stable with incomes and I have not regretted about a single purchase.

I put my shoes on once at the club for legs that were swollen after the flight, and it was a fatal failure. I hope to wear them more often next summer, but for now I am just glad that I have them - they are so beautiful and uplifting in moments of sadness. Probably, it was possible to somehow manage this amount more successfully: pay for a psychotherapist, go to a language course, go on a trip - but then I wanted to spend it that way, therefore, God save the sale!

My most expensive purchase is a coat. I love thoughtful and interesting design, appreciate the quality and carry my favorite things for several years. The most precious pieces that meet all my requirements are branded vintage finds.

Just recently, I spent a decent amount of money on Youji Yamamoto's wonderful coat, found in one of the Asian vintage online stores. My coat reminded me of an unusually tailored military uniform from the beginning of the 20th century - simple, but with a lot of interesting design solutions. For two weeks I kept the item in the basket, because even a vintage Youji is worth a lot of money for me.

While she was thinking about buying, she revised Wim Wenders’s film “Notes on Clothes and Cities”. In it, Yamamoto reflects on the nature of fashion and creativity, fascinating and leisurely leafing through August Zander's album "People of the XX Century". So, having received a portion of inspiration, I bought a coat with a clear conscience, after which I also tracked down several vintage designer items for my store.

By the way, the coat turned out to be perfect: suitable in style, made of thick wool, complex and minimalist at the same time, absolutely timeless; it reads the military cut of the First World War, and the minimalism of the 90s, and modern urban history.

I have a dress-case Roksanda - black with orange accents. I bought it quite spontaneously for myself, the decision was made only after two fittings. The most interesting thing is that then, after one of the transactions, I just had the right amount for it. I have never regretted buying, I love the dress very much, although I only wear it on special occasions: for example, at an auction or an evening at the Bolshoi. I am happy already simply because it hangs in the closet.

I also always dreamed of replenishing my home collection with the work of Andrey Bogush. And it’s not even the fact that I saved up for a long time on a photo - but the fact that it was very difficult to make the final choice in favor of one particular work from the series. It took several months to think. Now I am very pleased with this purchase, it also brings me pleasure.

The most expensive thing in my wardrobe is a black long wool coat COS. I bought it in November 2016, when I was visiting my girlfriend in Helsinki, and I’ve been wearing it since the cold season almost without removing it.

I was planning a purchase. Every year I got tired of choosing a new down jacket in the mass market, because the old one for the season disliked. In addition, I am tall, and often outerwear in a conditional Monki or Zara is short for me, to find a suitable thing is always anguish. I chose COS because I decided that classic cut and black color would not become obsolete in a couple of years and would fit everything, and the composition is excellent. In general, I like shopping abroad more, when traveling, it is psychologically easier for me to part with money, besides, there is tax free. Moscow shopping centers rarely visit.

I do not regret that I paid for the coat more than I ever gave for clothes. I took the money from the savings I spend traveling, so the purchase was not a blow to my personal budget.

The coat is very warm and comfortable, it feels like a felt boot, only thin. For the third year, as soon as the autumn temperature drops to plus four, I put it on and switch to other outerwear in spring. The next couple of years just do not plan to look for a replacement.

Once, when I worked at an advertising agency, I had a very bad mood (it was often so then, but not the essence), and after working day I went to the Golden Apple and decided to desperately SPEND MONEY. True, I didn’t go further than the Urban Decay corner - I bought two palettes at once, a highlighter, a lipstick, an eyeliner and a pair of brilliant linings. Maybe for someone it's a routine, but for me then was an expensive purchase. In the end, it turned out something like twelve thousand, there were also discounts.

Usually I plan solid purchases and in every way I scold myself for them at the preparation stage (you cannot do this - the most expensive gift you give should be to you), but, unfortunately, I often experience mood swings, and then my wallet and the stomach rule the ball. I buy expensive things for myself very hard: I can give any equipment to my loved ones, things, everything, everything, but I feel sorry for myself. I declare the year 2019 a year to combat this disease.

As a result, out of this whole package, great love happened with the Naked 2 palette - this is the best basic set of shadows in the world. There is my favorite cold gold, cool gray. For a while, every day she used it and wiped the holes in a pair of cells with a brush and finger. And for a person who loves different cosmos, this task is almost unreal. Now I have cooled down to it, but I come back when I need it quickly, well and for a long time.
