Alberta Ferretti: Backstage and the SS 2012 show
Alberta Ferretti was traditionally shown at the Palazzo del Senato, one of the most popular sites of Italian designers. One and a half hours before the show on the backstage is like a fire - both make-up artists and hairdressers are in the Brownian movement. Models go to the first run, and after a few minutes, some are sent back: they begin to paint and brush more intensely. Around the floor and the tables are artificial strands. To catch the next show, the models shoot them right in the cars.
At this time, the makeup is quite girlish, makeup artists did not even use mascara. The whole emphasis is on cheekbones and eyebrows. For cheekbones, makeup artists mixed pink and peach blush, and for lips, pink-gray lipstick, which was almost invisible.
Looking at the clothes hung on rails, Derek Blasberg involuntarily remembered with his tweet that current shows are rich in palm prints. Not without them this time.
