Three clean PFW make-ups and how to repeat them

Masha Vorslav

On PFW, of course, there was not only “blasted” make-up: in any Week you can see a huge number of best-looking bows with a natural skin tone, a minimum of blush and sometimes eyebrows traced so that makeup would mainly focus on clothes. We chose “clean”, but nonetheless interesting images, and makeup artist Mark Godard explained how to repeat them.

There was a lot of gold on PFW: in hairstyles, on eyebrows, eyelids, and even eyelashes. Makeup Dries Van Noten, like the gold-browed Dior, is not banal, but not fussy; as it turned out, it can be reproduced without such a gold "wire".

I would not say that this is an everyday make-up: it is good for the catwalk and filming, there are quite a few problems with it, and yet this is a temporary story.

MAC has a wonderful base for mascara of white color - it can be applied on eyelashes, and then pigment can be stuffed on them (it can be not only golden, but also colored). If you want to make single accents, it is better to take false eyelashes with bunches, cover them with pigment using the same technology (instead of the base, you can cover the eyelashes with white cayal) and glue. In principle, it is possible to be confused with gold leaf: apply Duo glue for eyelashes on the bundles, stick the tinsel, fix it almost with nail polish and stick the eyelashes themselves, but this is not for life. In addition to the eyelashes, this eyebrow is beautifully drawn in this make-up, which at home can be done with stencils, clean skin without a hint of blush and a bit of gloss on the lips.

How to do it: base for mascara MAC Prep + Prime Lash, false eyelashes in bunches (MAC 30 Lash or MUFE Single Eyelashes, for example), pigment, white kaial MAC Eye Kohl Fascinating.

The arrow is one of the easiest ways to diversify makeup, even if it is classic black with a long tail. Now you can draw arrows of any shape and color; the choice is limited, perhaps, only willingness to change.

I like it when arrows are drawn without supersharks, right at the ciliary edge - they fit perfectly into everyday makeup, and different colors - white, orange, red - do not spoil the face, but only show that you are in the subject.

White eyeliner can be found in Inglot, but it is quite difficult to apply: oily texture, quickly hardens. There is it in MAC Pro, but this cosmetics seems to be everywhere except in Russia. If there is no eyeliner at hand, you can draw an arrow dipped in a retainer with a beveled brush and any white shadows - it will take longer to fill the density, but it is easier to correct the shadow than the liner.

How to do it: Inglot Matte Collection Eyeliner Gel 76 eyeliner, Lime Crime Lunar Sea fixing spray MAC Fix +, white matte shadows.

If the colored arrows seem like something self-evident, you can decide on such a graphic. In the case of the latter, much depends on the anatomical features, but by fiddling around with a plastic card and a pencil, you can understand which lines look better and where.

This is a very beautiful geometric “catwalk” arrow with a stretch of color: you can see that the color in the outer corner of the eye is more saturated - most likely, at first this corner was well drawn with liner or pencil, and then the shadows were filled on top and gradually began to stretch the color down to the inside corner of the eye.

Many girls are afraid of such makeup, but you can make not such a clear arrow, but simply draw a neat corner. To achieve graphics, again you can use a plastic card - substitute it as a stencil. The most important thing is to feel the product: you do not need to put a lot of shadows on a brush, it is better to shake off the excess and gradually layering the shadows than to wash everything that has crumbled from the skin.

How to do it: gel liner (for example, Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner) and bevel brush or cayal; shadows to match.
