What you need to know about decorative cosmetics Stila
WE HAVE LAUNCHED THE RUBRIC,in which we talk about interesting cosmetics - cheap, expensive, rare, beloved by makeup artists and bloggers, suitable for simple and complex makeup - and accessories for it.
Marku was founded by makeup artist Jenin Lobell twenty years ago. The title is a complicated story: in Italian, stilare means “writing with a pen,” and the official website of Stila says that “every woman’s makeup should be unique, as should her painting”. In addition, "stila" is consonant with the Swedish stil, that is, "style" - Lobell herself grew up in Sweden, so this interpretation is also important for her. True, the founder herself now has little to do with her brand: the company was resold several times, and in 2009 she finally found herself in the hands of investor Lynn Tilton.
Despite the fact that the company changed owners several times, this did not greatly affect the nature of its products. As before, now the brand produces cosmetics for those who love natural or bright, but conventional makeup. So, Stila has neutral lip gloss in a convenient package with a built-in brush, bright cold blush, and multi-color palettes of shadows.
Stila is very similar in spirit to Bobbi Brown, so you need to turn to it for similar tools - it is always interesting to work with new textures, so nothing prevents you from buying tenth pink blush from a new brand. If your approach is more practical, then you should take a closer look at liquid bronzers, waterproof eyebrow pencils and, for example, a set for face sculpting - not that other manufacturers have no analogues to these tools, but they are really successful and worth attention. Another interesting and profitable thing - metal shadows, which are sold in a pair with a small bubble of a primer.
Stila in Russia does not buy, except through online stores (the same asos, for example). Mark is not cheap: prices range from one and a half to almost four thousand rubles.
