Aurora Fashion Week 2011: Italian landing
In Russia - the year of Italy. The Italian nation is well-known fashionistas, so the Italian speech at this fashion week in St. Petersburg sounded almost more often than Russian. In any case, louder - for sure! See for yourself:
As part of FASHION AND WEB WORKSHOP, we listened to a lecture on brand promotion and the magic power of the Internet from the designer duet FRANKIE MORELLO (Maurizio Modica and Pierrefrancesco Gillotti). They turned out to be very charming and very sonorous
Also, our attention was taken over by representatives of DOMUS Academy - one of the most prestigious Italian institutions offering education in the field of fashion and design - Barbara Trebisch and Damiano Antonazzi - development director, speaking excellent Russian with a lovely accent.
WORKSHOP ended with the delivery of prizes - a two-year training course in Milan with a cost of 3,000 euros each. Designers personally handed FRANKIE MORELLO!
On the podium, too, without the Italians could not have done, of course. The Italian brand Sergei Grinko is engaged in the production of women's clothing and accessories. In his collections, Sergey mixes different styles and eras using Italian handmade technologies. He presented his latest collection at Milan Fashion Week, and her premiere in Russia was held at the Aurora Fashion week.
And the honorable thing - to hold the closing show - was entrusted to C'N'C CoSTUME NATIONAL. The founder of the brand - a graduate of the Milan Academy of Design, collaborated with Yamamoto, but, of course, founded his own fashion house at home. Manege has not seen such a full house!
Not to mention the fact that the guest of this fashion week has become such an outstanding Italian actress as Ornella Muti, better known as the constant honorary guest of the Cannes Film Festival.
And of course, in the late afternoon, when it became quite hot in Manezh, it was impossible to do without a bottle of Italian premium beer Peroni Nastro Azzurro. In general, such is Aurora Mamma mia!
