Perhaps, very soon we will be able to name girls with African blood a new trend in the model business. A year ago, Hannah Ben Abdeslem came to industry from Tunisia. Next in line is half Somali and half Filipina Amira Ahmed.
Amira is a real cosmopolitan: she was born in Stockholm, where her stepfather spent all her childhood on a yacht, studied at a Prague school and at a London college, and eventually moved to Brooklyn. The girl chose her career as a model because she allows to travel a lot. During the work, Ahmed shot for AllSaints, Gap and Asos. In addition, she recently signed a contract with L'Oreal. Between the seasons Amira is surfing the West Coast and snowboarding in the Alps. “Ahmed is an amazing model that has something more than a beautiful face framed by a boyish haircut,” the New York Times rightly notes.
