For skin care, I have long tried to use the most natural products. I have no task to read the compositions on all the jars and throw out all with at least one mention of parabens. Just when the diet changes, you begin to feel the chemical odors more acutely and you no longer want to apply this product to the skin. But without fanaticism.

Inner feelings

I love yoga and have been doing it for many years, but for periods. Sometimes I go to the studio twice a week, sometimes I feel that I get tired of talking during the day and I don’t want to go where there are a lot of people around you. Then I do it myself at home, adding exercises from the ballet. In the morning I try to do gymnastics of Tibetan monks "Five Tibetan Pearls" - a cycle of exercises, each must be repeated 21 times. If you can’t live without a cheesecake, then you can leave one piece per day, but let everything else in the diet be from whole, mostly vegetable products. Vegetables and greens are our best friends. Especially fresh greens, which contains a portion of chlorophyll. It invigorates us, improves digestion, blood condition, makes our hair and skin better.

Often we trap ourselves, doing what we really want, not ourselves, but those around us. Once a month you can compromise and do something that you don’t really like, but you have to. But if this happens 365 days a year, then no matter how much sport or yoga is in life, there will be less and less joy and desire to get out of bed in the morning. In the information flow, it is becoming increasingly difficult to balance between your desires and the expectations of others, but it is very important to conduct an honest conversation with you.

Butterflies in the stomach

It is important to try different directions and honestly admit to yourself that it is more joyful for you, and not for your partner, friend or parents. If you start practicing yoga and you get bored with strange postures and breathing exercises, then hammer on yoga, try something completely different. For example, in addition to yoga, I love ballet classes and adore basketball since high school — when it gets dry on the street, I call my husband and friends to leave the ball with me. And fresh air, and excellent charging.

Walking

When I move a little, I miss the tone and do not like how my back feels. I like to walk very much - I walk fast every day from the office to the house and back for 20-25 minutes one way. I do not really welcome marathons and long-distance running, because it seems to me that this is more about the result, the desire to prove something to myself and others, but not always about health. A walk with quick steps is a more benign option, organic for our body.

For example, I pass tests in English - I have it three times a week, and in the middle of the day there is no opportunity to do my homework. The so-called morning pages also help me to charge: in the morning you write anything, if you want - poetry, if you want - one word two thousand times. About three or four pages. I missed it, but now I do, it collects me. And recently I found another way: I say ten words of gratitude out loud.

Belly feast

You need to pamper yourself. During the week, you can still somehow limit yourself, do not sweep away everything: remove the sweet, flour, do not eat at night. But on Sunday or Saturday to make such a chill, afford to carbohydrates, pasta, go to a restaurant and eat there whatever you want. I say this as a crazy sweet tooth, I love all kinds of desserts terribly - and so I reward myself for good behavior. Or a glass of dry red wine can always afford, why not. If during this period everything is still forbidden, you can go crazy. It is necessary to enjoy life.

Step out of the comfort zone

The weather is unfavorable for jogging: it is slippery, I’m afraid for my ankles and achilles. And I went to boxing. Suddenly. When I was invited to a training session by the guys, the owners of the hall, I told them: “No, it’s not mine at all.” And they told me: "What are you, boxing is a completely different story." We all have the stereotype of thinking: boxing means beat the muzzles, running around means marathons right away. But this is not a scuffle, but a cool functional training that strengthens the body. A completely new movement for me to coordinate. Exit from the comfort zone.

Smile

Many people write to me about work, they often give advice - after all, everyone has their own ideas about how to treat them. I am a reckless person, starting to engage in some meaningless controversy. But I always finish on a good note. Spending time on the negative does not make any sense. Only squander yourself, and then where does the makeup come from? Only confusion and vacillation. So smile and do not take everything too close to your heart. Maybe another person will also reconsider his position, maybe he is cool and kind at heart, but simply society has taught him to be categorical.

Water

Recently, I was on the set of the program, and there was a nutritionist who said: you drink a glass of water or three liters - this does not affect anything. It seemed strange to me, especially since there are many studies confirming that there is a difference. But I did not argue - to each his own. Personally, I used to drink plenty of water. Be sure to drink two or three glasses before breakfast. Water really cleans the most simple and understandable way - drink water. But only necessarily clean, no soda will not help here. As students, we conducted all sorts of experiments in the anatomy, and I want to say that there were very interesting results. Since then, I do not drink cola, even though I like it to taste, I will not hide it.

Run

Honestly, if there were no motivation, I would also continue to sleep in this weather. But I have three children, the work that is associated with people, I once gave the Hippocratic Oath. I can not afford to be in bad shape at my receptions, lectures, seminars. And what am I doing - I get up, I run. It cleans my brain very well. I ran all the time, in the past I am a candidate for master of sports in athletics. But for those who first decided to do jogging on the street, it is still necessary to wait for warming.

If you start to blame yourself for something eaten, then the body does not lose weight, if there is such a goal, even with the help of sports and diets. We all have a lot to do with how we perceive ourselves. It is important to eat in order to replenish energy, not in order to fill some psychological hole.

Fat fit

I think I was generally unhappy with my physical form all my life. But I learned to handle it. I started reading about positive body trends, learned to love myself the way I am. I realized that they can love me, for example, for my sense of humor, and not for my wide hips. In America, there is a trend - fat fit. If you play sports and eat properly, it already means that you fit, not fat, because you pay attention to your body.

Follow inspiration

I live in such a district - there are no cool shops around me. If I want something special, I go to the markets or to the beautiful new supermarkets, because there is an insanely cool assortment. This is the inspiration for my work, my recipes, my photos. Also inspired by the talented work, for example, photographer Tuukki Koski. His photos in the book about chocolate looked fresh, but at the same time he did not lose the “food spirit” and understood how it should look.

Positive attitude

During this period, I consciously try to cheer myself up, and not to cheat, that everything will be gray and gloomy. I try to understand in advance what the difficulties will be, for example, in work and how it can be compensated. I try not to get upset about trifles, but, on the contrary, to please myself with trifles every day. The easiest thing to remember is what brings pleasure, sign up for a lecture, surround yourself with a pleasant meal that helps you feel harmonious, as if doing something right.

Pull yourself together

If I am tired or had a stressful day, I try to drag myself into the gym anyway, even after work. A simple snag works with me, you just say to yourself: "I am very tired and I will not run, say, an hour, I will run 20 minutes. Or not even run, I will walk, go uphill, and even without tilting." But when you get up on the track, sit on the bike, you already feel the responsibility, turn on the process, get into the stream - and fulfill your standard.

Time to stop

It seems to me that many residents of the megalopolis have undiagnosed forms of depression. We are accustomed to the fact that we must step over ourselves and constantly stimulate ourselves to something new. But in reality we owe nothing to anyone. We have weaknesses, and constantly being under stress is not normal. It is important to just stop at some point, stop driving yourself, take care of health, both physical and mental. After all, things never end, so a respite is the minimum that we have to do for ourselves at such times.
