I can not say that a dress on one shoulder is the hottest trend of the season. But such dresses and tops are part of the collections of many designers for several seasons in a row. I myself have tops on one shoulder: they are perfect in combination with an intricate skirt.

The most beautiful dresses with one shoulder are from Lanvin and Emilio Pucci, from Russian designers - from Alexander Terekhov. Arthur Lomakin also had a great idea to focus on one sleeve with a sheepskin. And despite the fact that the second sleeve is in place, in my opinion, this is a new interpretation of the trend.

In my opinion, things with an open shoulder are difficult to attribute to the leading trends of the season. Unlike dresses and maxi length skirts recently legalized for everyday wear, the open shoulder is left for special occasions. Therefore, during shows such dresses, made of light fabrics or decorated, could be seen at the end of the show, in the evening section. In the fall and winter in our lane, one must be careful with them. Wearing a dress on a party, you need to make sure that the open body is not very contrasted with warm tights and boots with fur. This season, most designers had no more than one or two models with bare shoulders. Donatella Versace, Victoria Beckham and ... Rick Owens gave the green light in choosing this style to their fans. The latter had asymmetrical vests and dresses made of various materials, including inflated ones. They looked belligerent, like armor.

In itself, the open shoulder is timeless. It can be said that the accents on both shoulders (with shoulder pads, epaulets, etc.) remained in the season before last, and now it is quite possible to confine ourselves to one. I put on the effect of the bandaged shoulder, as if a wound is hidden under the dress. For such a drapery fabric in this place should be more than is customary. In this case, the second shoulder can be covered with a fabric of a different color or even texture, as was the case with Rodarte.
