Tattoo film: a new kind of persistent makeup

Makeup that works as translated tattoos - with different, however, tasks and results, - was another brilliant gift that came to us from the Korean market. The main attraction is that the contents of the jar after application freezes with a film, and the ability to remove it with one hand movement fits into the concept of almost any product. Different manufacturers use this idea who is in that much: this is the classic tint, leaving a lasting pigment, and eyeliner, which can be easily removed without the participation of makeup remover. We tell why we need such cosmetics and where to look for it.

How it started

If you have not tried Korean tintes (for example, the legendary Berrisom), you probably saw them on instagram: bright liquid from a tube is applied to the lips, after which the frozen film is removed, and a very resistant pigment remains on the surface, which is not afraid of rain, snow and sixth a cup of coffee. Their unambiguous popularity has generated demand for products for other parts of the body; many Korean brands later released similar eyebrow products. The advantage of film tints is obvious: they are able to create the effect of truly “invisible” makeup.

Such tools do not necessarily work for persistent staining. Another hit that excited bloggers was the Real Skin Patch primer brand NOT4YOU: it freezes on the face with practically “second skin”, which creates a very smooth surface that provides perfect application and adhesion — and when it gets tired, it is simply removed. Feel like Patrick Bateman, as they like to joke in reviews of similar products. This texture was tested long ago in care products - it works well in the case of cleansing masks: the cessation of the film indicates the cessation of action, which at the end of the ritual must be removed with a couple of movements (along with all dead skin particles), and not long and painfully washed off.

Another promising area of application for "make-up films" was the category of eyeliner. Due to the very dense texture of the liner will be a rich color, and it is not physically able to get lubricated - unless it rolls.

Why do we need it

It’s hard to imagine a complete make-up with tint films alone — it looks like a homemade version of SFX makeup that you’re not really comfortable without five minutes. But the use of such tools, where it is convenient for you, can make life much easier. Those who regularly tint eyebrows, but is not going to run in the queue for a tattoo, should look in the treasures of the Asian market tints for eyebrows: some of them are kept for several days, or even a week.

Looking for unobtrusive lipstick that does not go away after a kiss or a burger, it will be nice to use tints outside the "little water" format. But the fans of shooters, especially those suffering from the fact that even the best liners are imprinted on the eyelid, we recommend trying Korean and American news - perhaps this will change your life. Be warned that adapting to these products is not very easy, as they also require accurate and symmetrical application, but you are guaranteed to get one or two makeup items that will not require any corrections during the day. Some brands, by the way, even offer complete stencils for drawing clear forms.

How to do it

The novelty bomb is the Too Faced glitter eyeliner (just see how the masters from Sephora handle it). In the traditional black color in the same Sephora can be found "detachable" eyeliner Blinc. Tint films for lips can now be found not only among Korean brands, but also among Caylin, which is widely represented in Russia. Similar products are in the segment for lacomaniacs - for example, the base Sally Hansen Big Peel Off Base Coat, which can dutifully stick on the nails with a layer of colored varnish, but can be easily and quickly removed if you simply pry it with tweezers. The most famous eyebrow eyebrow remains an inexpensive and very, very stable Etude House Tint My Brows Gel, and in the next “Girlfriends” you can already find an analogue of the more familiar mass-market brand Maybelline Brow Tattoo Gel Tint.
