Report: Backstage Jacquemus SS 2014
The photographer and heroine of the first Wonderzine material, Christina Abdeeva, shot a report from the backstage of the Jacquemus show at the Paris Fashion Week. Abdeeva tells how Simon Port Jacqui arranged a show in the slot machine hall from the show.
For the second season in a row, Simon Port Jacquim shows in unusual space. Last time it was an old pool, and this time the designer chose the basement of the slot machine hall, where there were cars, curling and other entertainment for schoolchildren who decided to take classes. Backstage is fun: the designer's friends are defiling, so you are at home party. They look natural, make-up imperceptible - only radiant skin. Jakmyu himself is worn with his girls. At one point, the designer loudly calls them to rehearse and leads from the machine to the machine, showing how to walk. By the way, one of the models will later laugh on the catwalk, but this will not embarrass anyone.
The collection is traditional for the Frenchman. Here are cropped tops, pleated skirts, cut-out dresses. The colors are very clean - pink, electric and emerald, as well as white-boiled. Jacqui combines clothes with caps, put on the visor back, and tennis shoes with high white socks. It seems that we have seen this more than once, but how fresh everything looks. At the show a relaxed atmosphere, after the designer dances with the models, and the party begins right in the slot machine hall. Guests play air hockey, throwing balls into baskets, as Simon Port probably planned.
