Report: Blurred lipstick and NTV film crew on Marni backstage
We continue to talk about everything that happens during Milan Fashion Week - in every minute updates from shows, street style, and now backstage.
This time our contributor Ivan Litvinenko went to the backstage of the Marni show and saw models with a blurred make-up.
Reportage: Ivan Litvinenko
The backstage of Marni was easy to be late - by eight in the morning it was necessary to arrive on the outskirts of Milan. Nevertheless, at the appointed time, in a huge industrial building, similar to a parking lot or a warehouse, a crowd of journalists was wet in the rain. Inside, as always, it is very hot and noisy, but this time, unlike Pucci or Antonio Marras, the situation is calmer, photographers have a lot to turn around. |
The process coordinator kindly offers to drink coffee in the buffet and informs a group of journalists that they can stay on the backstage for as long as necessary. Models, in spite of the early morning, are having fun with might and main: someone makes faces at photographers, someone photographs colleagues and journalists on the phone himself. This time I notice a lot of TV crews, and, in addition to the usual Fashion TV and World Fashion, colleagues from NTV unexpectedly come to the show - a strange story. |
The main makeup artist of the MAC was, as always, Tom Pesho, who this time told that the collection was based on a make-up - it is sharp, contrasted and almost without bright colors. The effect of wet hair adds boldness and makes the models look alike (the hair color is almost indistinguishable). Therefore, for contrast, a diffuse makeup was chosen, as in the photographs of Sarah Moon with the effect of "soft focus", the borders of the lips are made indistinctly, like eyes with barely visible peach shadows. As the color for the lipstick was burgundy - the only bright color in the collection. |
After the journalists finished working on the backstage, everyone could freely go to the show itself and take convenient places long before the first guests began to enter the building. |
