alexander savina

Probably everyone at least once wanted to add In life, a little awareness: deal with boring habits, sleep more and eat a balanced diet. We have collected eleven various applications that will help with this - from an emotion diary to an e-wallet.

Habit-bull

IOS, ANDROID

A laconic and nice looking tracker that will help you acquire a good habit or, on the contrary, abandon the one that interferes. To track progress, you will need to note once a day whether you have managed to fulfill the planned or not. Habits are divided into categories (there are, for example, "Health and Sport", "Home Care and Animals", "Work and Study", "Finance" and even "Art"), and what you observe can be expressed in a simple “do / not do” or more detailed task like “read 20 pages” or “go through 8000 steps”. You can set a goal and choose how many times a week you have to fulfill it (useful if you, say, want to call your grandmother every Monday and Friday).

The application makes up the chains of successful days and collects statistics for the week and month: if you are true to the task, then after a couple of months, Habit-Bull will notify you that the new habit has become entrenched. The interface is entirely in English, but the goals can be called in Russian - but otherwise everything is intuitive.

Perspective

Ios

Keeping a diary is a useful and pleasant activity: even if you are not interested in written therapeutic practices, it can be interesting to see what you did on the same day a year ago and what you thought about. Perspective gives you much more opportunities than a simple diary: you can add photos to the record of the past day, and also mark your mood or answer the app's leading questions.

The creators of Perspective advise you to pay attention to whether you spend enough time on important things - for this there is an "interests" section (i.e. "interests"), where you can say whether you have done your favorite thing today (happy smiley) or not (sad smiley ). At the end of the week, the application offers to give an overall assessment to the past days. Data is stored in the cloud and synchronized on different devices - so you can not worry about the diary, if you decide to change the phone.

Todoist

iOS, Android

The app for those who lack standard reminders and notes in the smartphone. Todoist is a program that allows you to create to-do lists and monitor your productivity. You can conduct several projects at once (for example, work or personal) and leave your own list of tasks for each, make collective projects, and set different priorities for different tasks. Also, Todoist has a convenient filter system to, for example, view only the most urgent things.

In the paid version of the application (it will cost 1990 rubles per year) there are more functions: for example, you can add tags and comments to tasks, upload files to each of them, and also set reminders and receive monthly progress reports.

Spendee

iOS, Android

Most standard banking applications today allow you to keep track of income and expenses, but this is not always convenient - for example, the money that friends give you for a common purchase will most likely be recorded in the income category, although this is not the case. Spendee makes it easy to keep track of finances: in addition to the standard list of expenses, you can create several virtual wallets (useful if you have, for example, not one bank card) and plan a budget (for example, write down how much per month you are willing to spend on food - for entertainment).

The application has a paid version (200 rubles per month or 1600 rubles per year) - in it you can link a bank card to your account (data from it will be saved automatically), maintain a joint budget with other users and add an unlimited number of wallets and budgets.

Daylio

iOS, Android

A simple and nice application that is useful to those who undergo psychotherapy, and those who just want to better understand themselves and their emotional state. Daylio is a mood diary: every day you need to note in it how you feel (choose from five suggested icons, you can customize them yourself) and what you did today (for example, you did sports or met friends).

The application analyzes the data entered and helps to draw conclusions: what makes you happy and what, on the contrary, upsets you, how your condition has changed over the past month and how often you have been in a certain mood. Of course, you probably already know what classes you are from without it - but statistics helps to see a large-scale picture: for example, that you are not at all happy with work or that you need to devote more time to your hobby. Premium access (459 rubles) allows you to close the diary with a PIN code, download entries and give more icons - but if you wish, you can safely do without it.

Timeular

iOS, Android

Recently, we talked about the octahedron ZEI °, which helps control how you spend time, and less procrastinate. If you don’t want to buy a gadget, you can simply download the Timeular application - it also helps to keep track of your work time, only you have to enter all the data manually, and not through an octagon. The interface of the application is in English, but everything is simple: you need to add activity in one of the menu items (you can call them in Russian, you can set your own color for each), and then turn on the timer in the first menu item - it can be left to work in the background. Timeular gives statistics for each day, as well as for several days - it helps to take a sober look at how you spend your time.

Lifesum

iOS, Android

We have already talked about useful applications that will help keep track of what you eat. Lifesum is another nutrition diary designed primarily for counting calories. We do not recommend blindly relying on the daily rate offered by Lifesum, but nevertheless there is a lot of useful information in the application - for example, data on the composition of proteins, fats and carbohydrates in different dishes (the library is impressive).

Lifesum is also focused on physical activity data: you can enter training information manually, or you can synchronize it with a basic smartphone application that monitors your health. The paid version (749 rubles per month or 3390 rubles per year) makes it possible to get an individual nutrition plan with specific recipes, as well as add information from advanced fitness apps.

Google fit

Android

Convenient application that helps to lead a more active lifestyle, created by Google in conjunction with the World Health Organization and the American Heart Association. Google fit is based on the recommendations of both organizations, described in convenient and understandable parameters: minutes of activity (they are charged for any physical exercise, including walking) and cardio training points (they are given for active loads, such as speeding up when walking or running - to to reach the recommended rate, you need five days a week to walk in quick steps for half an hour). The application helps to track workouts - data about them must be entered manually - and also synchronized with the pedometer in the phone.

Everyday

iOS

Paid application (229 rubles), which, unfortunately, is available only on iOS. Everyday offers to take pictures of yourself to see how you change over time - to make it more convenient, you can use the markup grid or compare today's photo with yesterday. The easiest way to do it in self, but this is not necessary - someone for sure will like full-length portraits. From the resulting photos, you can collect video (yes, like that famous video on YouTube). All data is stored in the cloud on Dropbox, and additional photo collections will open for a fee.

Flo

iOS, Android

With the advent of smartphones, traditional paper calendars for calculating the cycle seem to be completely gone. Flo is a handy application that allows you not only to keep track of your periods and calculate the days of ovulation, but also to store a lot of other data about your mood, well-being, secretions and sexual contacts. In addition, the application has a mode of pregnancy to monitor the development of the fetus and find out what happens to the body every week while waiting for childbirth. Access to data can be closed with a password or using a fingerprint. Special attention is given a page with medical advice.

Sleep cycle

iOS, Android

Sleep Cycle is primarily a “smart” alarm clock, but it can also be used as a sleep tracker. It's simple: you choose a period in which you would like to wake up (the authors of the application recommend laying half an hour, for example, from 6:30 to 7:00), put the phone on the bed next to you and go to bed. The app measures the phases of your sleep (during the fast sleep phase, you spin and move a lot in bed, during the slow phase, sleep tight and deep), and then it shows how you spent the last night. In addition to daily statistics, the application also shows the "trends" of your sleep in the appropriate section - you can learn from them how you sleep compared to other people in the country and whether it is time to change something (for example, work on sleep hygiene or start to go to bed sleep early).
