Subscribe to Instagram: Puppies from Sochi Jake and Mishka
LIFE WITHOUT SOCIAL NETWORKS in 2014 - something from the field of bold experiments, for which few are ready. You can use microblogging in order to be aware of the smallest details of the lives of your friends, or you can view the whole world through them. To help with the second, we will regularly talk about the authors of the most beautiful instagram accounts, witty twitter and socially useful Facebook. In general, people whose accounts are able to inspire us to feats or throw a couple of ideas on how to diversify our own lives, and for which it makes sense to subscribe right now.
Two lovely and - immediately obvious - happy dogs lie on a chair with a characteristic print in the shape of an American flag. Then they are terribly satisfied standing in the middle of a large, dirty puddle and happily looking into the camera. In another photo - they eat from dog bowls, hoisting their paws on the master's table. In appearance, thesochipups are a standard and, as it should be, a wildly cute photoblog about the life of two mongrels, but if you know the background, the touching and value of each image from this account rises to the skies.
Jake (spotted) and Mishka (black) are former orphan poochs from Russia, who were adopted and brought to the USA by freestyler and silver medalist in slopestyle Gus Kenworthy. The athlete picked up puppies in Sochi, arriving there for the 2014 Olympics. Gus designed the papers for a long time, the dogs went through quarantine and finally in the spring they were able to come to their new and, in general, first real home - in Colorado. Kenworthy managed to save not only Jake and Mishka from street life, but also their mother and brother. The history of the sudden emigration of Sochi puppies in the USA could be considered a fairy tale with a happy ending, but, unfortunately, not everything went so smoothly. One of the puppies was so weak that he died on the eve of his departure for America. However, not only Jake, Mishka and their mother were lucky: several Olympic athletes followed the example of Gus Kenworthy and became masters of homeless Russian dogs.
Looking today at the happy faces of Mishka, Jake and their mother, periodically appearing in the frame, it is hard to imagine that these dogs six months ago were dirty and hungry wandering through the streets of Sochi. Many people do not want to think about such things. In this context, thesochipups blog carries a very important mission - it proves that every pooch deserves a warm house and a host who would love her, and she will simply respond to him with unconditional love.
