Body art and eyebrows: 5 fashionable make-ups at the Paris Fashion Week

MARGARITA VIROV

The last of the major fashion weeks is rich there were plenty of even the most traditional brands for interesting beauty ideas: there were plenty of actual fantasy shooters and bright colors. Designers and makeup artists reflect a lot on the beauty of the future, turn to the past for bright trends and, as is customary everywhere, they urge to be bolder. We show five inspiring make-ups from Parisian shows of spring-summer collections.

Yellow shadows

Saint Laurent has a software revolt and rock-n-roll with all the consequences: it is no wonder, but it’s interesting to observe how the main make-up artist of the brand Tom Pesjo approached beauty images with such initial data. The case was not limited to red lips and black arrows in the tradition of aggressive new femininity. We recommend to look for viable pastel dyeing of hair and yellow shadows applied to the eyebrows - in the form of such an accent, fashionable color fits into the conventionally fatal bow.

Lubricated arrows

The luxurious show Dior, the theme of which was dance (Israeli choreographer Sharon Eyal and his dancers took on the show) also made me very cool. The main accent is the black liner at the eyelashes and on the mucous: as conceived by Peter Phillips, this scheme should resemble a little makeup that has flowed during the rehearsal process. Abstract arrows are painted with kayal. If you want to reproduce them, watch the harmony of the lines, but symmetry, as we have become accustomed to, is not too necessary.

Eyebrow strings

One of the most impressive journeys to the past happened at the Gucci show - this time there were no dragons, but the images of club teens from the 70s turned out to be no less cinematic; Jane Birkin made a cherry on the cake. First of all, everyone was surprised by short bangs, which looked as if the models had cut them off themselves, and unfinished nails: Alessandro Michele continues to rethink what is considered "ugly" with taste. Some models drew neat eyebrow-strings on top of brightened natural ones - Gucci now knows how to handle anti-trends.

Arrows from rhinestones

Make up, which is best seen from space, made, of course, Pat McGrath. For the Valentino show, the eyelids of the models were painted in bright colors, they brought out expressive arrows and pasted them with variegated crystals. Such a makeup with a more modest amount of rhinestones, but no less futuristic arrows, the makeup artist did at last year’s Prada show, and in Papermag they remembered the makeup of Lady Gaga for a performance on the Super Bowl. To make this make-up harmonious, you need to practice, but the result is worth it.

Body art

Make-up can be done not only on the face, so make-up artists often paint different parts of the body of models. Unfortunately, body art rarely acts as a separate part of the image - one of the outlets of the Loewe model is definitely worth a greeting. Pat McGrath drew a real picture on her back: it looks difficult, but you can repeat this image without any extra effort using a large and detailed translated tattoo.
