Model Masha Kapitsa-Neverovski about favorite outfits

FOR RUBBER "WARDROBE"we take pictures of beautiful, original or strangely dressed people in their favorite things and ask them to tell related stories. This week our heroine is art-buyer and model Masha Kapitsa-Neverovski.

When I was about five years old, I was taken home to my great-grandmother, an actress who traveled around Europe and collected an incredible collection of antiques. I still remember how she told about her things: who gave what and how. Already then it seemed to me that each subject should have its own history.

In childhood we received parcels from America or mother sewed something herself - we always thought up a sketch together, so that each thing turned out to be special. For me now it is important to feel that the clothes are "mine" - this helps to set the mood. At fifteen, I began model trips that lasted three months, they taught me to easily part with things. Since then, I wildly do not like to pack my bags and always buy clothes on the spot and leave them when leaving.

Often I choose carnival, elegant clothes, which then wait in the wings for years. I buy things mostly before any event - from dating and traveling to getting a job. It is important for me that they are associated with people, places or events. My sister has a vintage salon N. Bonaparte, so sometimes we make purchases together and pick up clothes for each other.

Yohji Yamamoto T-shirt, Versace Pants, Vintage Jacket, Beret and Earrings

This is the only T-shirt I bought: I usually take them from other people. Jacket from the Moscow vintage shop RaiseSomeStore: on the label is written the Paris street, on which it was sewn. Judging by the information on the Internet, now that private studio has become a boutique.

Vintage earrings made jewelers Jews who emigrated to America in the 40s. They invented a base metal alloy that does not peel off or fade. Unfortunately, his secret has been lost over the years.

Corset is custom-made, trousers from Strogo Vintage, earrings from Florence

A corset from a studio of underwear in Venice, he was sewn to order - a gift for Valentine's Day itself. Shoes bought in Rome in a multi-brand store, because it was wildly frozen.

Earrings from a vintage shop in Florence. The shopkeeper and part-time buyer, Camilla Baracci, specializes in things of the 20-60s. She is in love with clothes, and she needs a store for the soul, not for money. We talked with her, and she gave me these earrings, as they approached the dress she had bought there.

Maje jacket, Versace pants, Rendez-Vous shoes, Etro earrings, shawl - gift

Jacket bought for the first model salary in Barcelona. A handkerchief is a gift of my first love. Parents had a business trip to Rome, a family from Paris lived with us in the hotel - so we met. We were thirteen, we spent days playing ping-pong and taught each other new words. With this handkerchief he blindfolded me, took me to the fountain, where he said that he loved me. I didn’t answer, just rolled my eyes and left. We never saw each other again, and then I cried for a year in this handkerchief.

Shoes from the store Rendez-Vous - in general, my shoes do not live more than the season. Even if I will not leave the house, something will happen to her anyway, so I update her constantly. I only wear this couple for a month, but it is also time for her to rest.

Pants from Strogo Vintage, vintage shirt from Moda Moda

The shirt was brought from Tbilisi, where we rested with my sister.

Sandro jacket, trousers from Strogo Vintage

The jacket appeared after a chance encounter with a psychic in GUM: in addition to describing my future and past, he advised me to wear classic clothes and buy more costumes. Not that I took his words seriously, but I still bought the jacket. Who knows, maybe meet his fate in it.

Sweater Zara, dress - gift, clutch Golden Goose Deluxe Brand

I have only a few things from the mass market, and this sweater is one of them. I do not like the concept: bought - put - washed - threw - bought again. Sweater had to take a "warm" summer day on the road somewhere, and, surprisingly, he caught on in the wardrobe.

The dress was presented by a friend-artist. I worked in a gallery in Hong Kong, where he made an installation; after the fabric remained, he sewed me an apron dress for the opening of the exhibition. Clutch Golden Goose Deluxe Brand gave my friend Stas birthday.

Galliano skirt, Zara sweater, Strogo Vintage hat, Dior sneakers

Skirt bought in Florence specifically to go in it for a date in Venice. Sneakers Dior found on the eve of the party dedicated to the opening of the casino in Manila; George Clooney spilled temples on them. This is a special shoe in every sense: firstly, when I put it on, something unexpected happens, and secondly, it is my longest playing pair.

Dress from Hong Kong

The dress is very cinematic - it immediately mood, as if you are the heroine of the films Polanski.

Sandro shirt, Mango pants, a scarf - a gift

That's how I look every day: basically I wear shirts and pants. I do not have a single pair of jeans in the wardrobe, I feel very uncomfortable in them. The scarf is my favorite accessory, I have their sea; I always ask friends to bring them from travels instead of souvenirs. I really liked the color of these pants; for some reason, constantly falling down the stairs in them, so that the bottom is slightly torn.

Stella McCartney coat, costume - gift

I brought a coat from Beijing: I fell in love with it immediately, but at first I didn’t have enough money, and a week later it was no longer available. I needed to fly away in a couple of hours - I literally drove behind him with suitcases. I was very upset, but when the sellers found out that I couldn’t come back for it, I felt sorry for me and gave me a hidden copy - also with a discount. The costume was presented by the sister after she moved away from me to the groom, who was dissatisfied with her huge wardrobe.

Bomber jacket from Japan, trousers from Hong Kong, Dior sneakers

I brought the jacket from Japan for a friend as a gift, but I forgot to give it back. Pants bought in Hong Kong specifically before the concert Stevie Wonder.

Rings and Pearl Earrings

Ring with a black circle - from shooting, a ring with a green pebble - a gift. Earrings presented grandmother on the eighteenth.

Perfume from Paris

She collected the smell herself in a perfumery studio.

Perfume Caron Infini

These spirits were created in 1912, but in 1970 they rethought. To convey the spirit of the decade, Karon created an original and revolutionary fragrance with a base of tuberose, hyacinth and lily. Perfume dubbed "Infini" in honor of the cosmos.
