Not alone
The publication of "Such things" launched an interactive project "Not One," dedicated to the problem of social orphanhood - a situation in which the child remains alone, despite the fact that he has living parents or relatives. The authors of the project attempted to create an Encyclopedia of social orphanhood — to describe the most diverse crisis situations that orphans and families could fall into. Also, the creators seek to show ways out of them and give practical advice to those who are thinking about adoption or have encountered other difficulties (material, psychological and not only), making a decision about the fate of the child. The project is based on real stories of children of different ages: on the site, each of them is presented in the form of a timeline, allowing you to trace what and at what stage she or he had to face. In addition, experts comment on the situation: psychologists, doctors and employees of charitable organizations.
