Producer InStyle Ksenia Vasilyeva about favorite outfits

FOR RUBBER "WARDROBE" we take pictures of beautiful, original or strangely dressed people in their favorite things and ask them to tell related stories. This week our heroine is InStyle producer Ksenia Vasilyeva.

I can not characterize your style in one word, my clothing preferences change all the time. I'm bored staying in one guise for a long time. It was fun to look at your photos when I was # 10YYearChallenge, but I hope that the next ten will cause less laughter. The style for me is a lot of consideration. I try to surround myself with beautiful things, from instagram subscriptions to books, magazines and items to develop taste - and not only in clothes.

Work and colleagues influenced my style most of all. When all the time you communicate with experts from the world of gloss, you involuntarily absorb knowledge about why things sit differently or what a good cut is. I remember how at the beginning of work at Harper's Bazaar a colleague helped collect baskets in online stores, explaining that I did not need another pink pleated skirt. It was a great school.

I more and more rarely succumb to impulsive shopping. My “favorite” purchase, without which, as it seemed, not to live, is Golden Goose Deluxe Brand jeans, full of glitter. A train of silver dust lay in the wording a couple of years after I once came to work for them. Ninety percent of the things I buy online. I have too busy and unpredictable schedule to spend time standing in traffic jams and finding parking for things. The only thing that I still try to buy live is jeans.

The main thing this fall - the Cossacks. Last season they were in every segment and almost all brands. By the end of winter, I also decided on my favorite couple - I chose the coolest classic Dior.

I think that the key to success is neat and fit things, so I’m sure I take all the clothes, from tops to overcoats, to the atelier.

Totême is my season opening. It is easy to assemble a good base from the brand’s things: they have the most correct jeans, perfect turtlenecks and minimalistic dresses.

In the online store, the dress was presented without a turtleneck, but for me such a move was too bold. With a turtleneck, it looks less elegant, but, in my opinion, much more interesting.

The most favorite elegant dress in the wardrobe: when I put it on, the mood instantly changes, and the parties work out. Fell in love with him, seeing someone on instagram - it turned out that it is from the DVF SS13 collection. I even wrote several letters to the main office of the brand with a request to sew it to order, which, of course, was naive of me. A couple of years ago I came across this dress on Matchesfashion and didn’t believe it - it was the last in the right size. I think this is a story when the thing really found me.

Recently, I have been trying to put together a basic wardrobe with well-fitting jeans, white T-shirts, turtlenecks, and so on. This jacket is its basis, the most universal thing: it helps out when it seems that there is nothing to wear.
