Graphic designer Lyalya Shatalo about favorite outfits

FOR RUBBER "WARDROBE" we take pictures of beautiful, original or strangely dressed people in their favorite things and ask them to tell stories related to them. This week, our heroine is graphic designer Lyalya Shatalo.

The main thing for me is not what things are on a person, but what kind of message carries his image as a whole. My wardrobe is fragmented: it's just a collection of everything that interests me. Most of all, my appearance was influenced by zero and youth culture. I like to study trends and the reason for their occurrence, but often, when I buy something for myself, I don’t even think about it. If the aesthetics of the brand is close to me, I can buy clothes just to have them in my wardrobe. I can take a thing, because it is "vital" to me - and I never wear it. Over the years, such things get a new life. I have nothing against the mass market. I used to buy basic things in Moscow, and some more expensive - online stores and flea markets. Most of all I like to combine the first with the second and am proud that it is difficult for me to recognize a luxury segment thing.

Fila down jacket, Levi's jeans, Maison Margiela belt, transition jersey, Acne Studios shoes

I brought this down jacket from the dacha - my mom used to ski in it. I changed the hood to the stand-up collar - I like it better. In general, due to the fact that I am redoing everything, half of the things in my wardrobe are sticking with threads and pins. I have never been a fan of Levi's, but I appreciate them for their approach to quality and attention to detail. I am short, so a high fit is an essential requirement for all trousers and jeans. She found the belt on commission in St. Petersburg, and bought a T-shirt in the junction at Kursk railway station on the way from the “Sewing world” to study. Shoes found in the distant 2010 in the St. Petersburg store Zing.

Sandro skirt, Zara bodysuit, Gore-Tex cap, Chelsea Dr. Martens, bomber jacket purchased at the Specific Market

A couple of years ago, to the birthday of a friend, I decided to buy something feminine: this is how my skirt turned out to be in my wardrobe. She is also pinned at the waist, although this is the size of XS. About the body I can not say anything - just knitwear, just beautiful color.

Last year, my tutor in British began to introduce me to the methods of manufacturing membrane fabrics - in particular, the company Gore-Tex. I wildly caught fire with their technology and even dreamed of staging with them. When I came to my parents and saw this cap from my dad, I took it the same day. Dr. Shoes Martens and items from the specific market conquered me at about the same time - I still love them.

JNBY Culottes, FUCT T-shirt, Vans Slips

FUCT T-shirt I wear for my girlfriend. In general, this is a tribute to your favorite guys from St. Petersburg Renegade Store, in which it was sold. My sister laughs that I wear these slipons all my life, but in fact, since I turned thirteen, I have been steadily buying a new pair every three years.

Uniqlo x Lemaire trousers, IDEA T-shirt, MM6 Maison Martin Margiela hat, Acne Studios boots, sheepskin coat from childhood

I like the way these pants are cut, but unfortunately they quickly lost their shape - after all, this is Lemaire for the mass market. She bought a t-shirt in Kuznetsky Most 20, and a hat in St. Petersburg's Red Bridge. Boots - probably my first suitable shoes for winter for a long time. She and I bought a sheepskin coat for a couple with my sister when we were four and six years old. The sister has grown out of it, but I still wear it, only now inside out.

Pearl Jam T-shirt, LOOM Denim jeans, Zara bodysuit, Asya Malbershtein belt, and Birkenstock slippers

I spent a significant part of my life in the St. Petersburg basement clubs, absorbing youth trends, so rock-merchandise shops are nothing new to me. Last time I went there for a Nautilus Pompilius T-shirt - this group was number one for me, and Ilya Kormiltsev's texts helped in the most difficult moment of my life. As a result, the saleswoman and I were indignant why there are T-shirts with performers from Shevchuk to Gorsh, but Butusov is not in the assortment. As representatives of the MTV generation came together on a T-shirt with Pearl Jam.

These jeans are the only items bought in Berlin that I managed to bring with me to Moscow. Everything else from my bag was pulled on the Florian Kupfer set - it was a lot of fun! Flip-flops ordered from VooStore and half worn with socks.

Zara pants, Zara Studio sweater, Wood Wood jacket, Uterque ankle boots

Pants bought when she felt the urgent need for flares. In general, I have nothing against the mass market, especially when it comes to basic clothing. It seems to me that Zara works well with current trends, although often at the expense of quality. In the case of Zara Studio, everything is a little different - I have long wanted a similar sweater. It is warm and pleasant to wear. I love Wood Wood for restraint and quality. This jacket is a thing that I am particularly anxious about: it is made of very delicate suede, so I rarely wear it. Shoe boots bought by accident - I saw them on the way to "Crossroads" and fell in love.

Rock Bunker Hoodie, MM6 Maison Martin Margiela jeans, Zara boots

Hoodie from "Rock Bunker" - I think they can be replaced by many shops of the mass market. Jeans ordered on Farfetch. I resisted against shoes for a long time: I was embarrassed by the prospect of buying them directly from the audience, but I still gave up.

Jacket Alexander Wang x H & M, Nike Air Footscape Woven Chukka Sneakers, Uniqlo Pants

The first and, probably, the last thing from the H & M Collaboration in my life. Most of all in my wardrobe sneakers. From the time when I was interested in sneakerhead culture, I had twenty-eight pairs left and a clear understanding of how the market is built in this area. I took the footcaps because of a bad mood. This, by the way, is another reason why I sometimes buy clothes.

Panama "South Ossetia"

This Panama - the most expensive that I have. I bought it on the market in my hometown of Tskhinval. She has a special magic: so, with her help, I got behind the scenes on the second Outline and passed without a queue at the Dune beach party.

Clock from childhood

The clock was given to me for christening: then my mother put them away and said that she would give when I was older. I became older, but my wrist did not grow. I had to shorten the buckle.
