Taschen's giant album with works by David Hockney
Every day there are beautiful or impossible beautiful things in the world.and some of them can be watched endlessly. Or at least a couple of minutes - to unload the brain, escape from the routine and let your eyes rest.
The Taschen publishing house, famous for its XXL format albums called Sumo, has added another genius to its collection. This time, on the five hundred pages of 50 by 70 centimeters in size, almost all the creative heritage of one of the main representatives of the pop art of the 1960s and the most influential artist of the 20th century David Hockney fit. The album contains more than 450 drawings, collages, stage designs, and even sketches on an ipad - everything that has come out of his hands for over sixty years, starting with his studies at Bradford School to the present day. Hockney himself worked closely with the publishing house while working on the album and was pleased with the result, saying that it was only during production that he was able to assess the amount of his creative baggage. The book was published in a limited edition of nine thousand copies, and you can buy it for almost 130 thousand rubles - in general, it is not harmful to dream.
