Katerina Polozhentseva, journalist

Before you - our regular heading "Wardrobe". For her, we photograph our favorite things beautifully, distinctively or strangely dressed people, and we ask you to tell stories that are connected with these things. In the new material - a lover of clothes of Russian designers, journalist Katerina Polozhentseva.

Vardoui Nazarian coat and body, Levi's shorts, Steve Madden sleepers

I bought this coat and body in Vardui showroom with a big discount. It happens, you put on a thing and you understand that you cannot live without it - it was so with this coat that you can wear only when it is not very hot and not very cold, that is, two days a year.

I have a lot of dresses in my closet, but for this summer many of them didn’t even see the light - all because of these shorts. If you want to find perfectly worn shorts - go to New York and buy them three times more expensive than new Levi's jeans in the store, in which they are specially cut and beautifully wiped. Long broke, buy them or not, but now I can not take them off. Ideal purchase.

Sleepers bought a year ago in New York. It would seem very demanding colors, but she easily gets along with both classic trousers and colored dresses. A year ago, they quietly walked around Moscow, the same summer, they cause indescribable delight in both girls and boys. Do not quite understand what happened.

Sweater and crystal necklace from "Lambada-market", Cyrille Gassiline skirt, ankle boots by Alexander Arutyunov

A skirt was presented to me by designer Kirill Gasilin as a sign of gratitude for what I wrote about him in all the publications I wrote about three years ago. It was nice. Cyril advised me to wear it with large sweaters. Since I was afraid to look like a ball, I wore it with satin jersey combinations. But, apparently, next winter I will fulfill the order of Cyril.

On the spring "Lambada Market" I bought a sweater, which is made by touch from plastic bags with the addition of Lurex. He fascinated me.

Necklace bought there. I have a tradition - I buy myself a crystal necklace at every Lambada. This is a vintage 1950s.

These ankle boots became my first pair on such a high heel. I have a lot to thank Sasha for, but I am especially grateful to him for making me wear high heels. But this was not possible even for my mother.

Dress Alexander Arutyunov, Albano sandals

I love this short dress, although in fact it is a long shirt. I remember the first time I went out in a skirt of Kirill Gasilin for an event. Sasha Arutyunov, with whom I was still not familiar, asked what kind of beautiful skirt was on me. She said that this is a gift from the designer. He opened the trunk of his car, rummaged in an uncountable amount of things and brought me this dress with the words "I also want you to wear my things." From the moment I started working with him.

Sandals bought in Tel Aviv. I was looking for something "decent" to go to Bar Mitzvah. I was terribly worried when I went there. But when I saw the make-up of local Israelis, I immediately relaxed - I could have come there in a transparent combination, no one would have paid attention to me.

T-shirt of the Israeli army, skirt and kokoshnik Alexander Arutyunov

T-shirt - a gift from a friend. At one time she slept in it or went through the house. Having forgotten a couple of times, she left the house in it, and she caused a strong resonance. Over time, began to treat her more carefully. In the spring I was in Israel, but I could not find one more for the future. In stores with overalls, new, modern versions were on sale, and, alas, I did not have time to go for a break.

Skirt Sasha Arutyunov made for his fashion show fall-winter 2011/2012. As a result, I decided not to let her out on the podium and dressed me up in it. I ran around the hall and met guests. The next day, orders for it were no less than things from the catwalk. By the way, it seems that it is very heavy, in fact, it weighs almost nothing. I love her very much.

Kokoshnik is one of the accessories of the future winter collection of Arutyunov. By the way, some earrings in it will be made according to my sketch and will be called "Kato".

Zara sweater, Skirt with Specific, Steve Madden sandals

The skirt bears the proud title of “the cheapest thing in my wardrobe.” I bought it at Udelnaya in St. Petersburg for 10 rubles. It’s hard to imagine how my face twisted when I heard the price. Denim is very soft, and it is very beautifully welded. In general, a very good buy.

Cotton sweater - a friend's gift. It passed through the entire first half of summer, when the sun had not yet begun to melt the head and the asphalt.

Jewelry that I never take off of is bracelets. We have an agreement with some of my friends: we bring only bracelets to each other from the journeys. I wear a lot at once, some even wash in the shower. Now my favorite is Buddhist red, which I brought from China.

Sandals bought in Israel. I was attracted by carpet colors and a crazy platform. At the same time, in terms of weight and comfort, they are comparable only with slippers.

Burberry Jacket, Forever 21 Jumpsuit

Jacket spotted in Rome, when she was there in January last year. Then she bought a vintage coat, Burberry, and did not drag the jacket. As a result, I thought about it for six months. Returned in July, and to my surprise, he was still hanging out at this store, waiting for me. Now it’s scary to imagine what would have happened to me if I had missed it. Probably, a part of my heart would have broken and never recovered. By the way, the club jacket, most likely, was sewn for some gymnasium. It is male, and on the logo is age - 12-14 years.

There is only one American mass-market brand in which you can find something nice for 20 bucks, and no one else will have it in Moscow. My girlfriends, who moved to New York to study, have to save a lot there, and Forever 21 often helps them a lot. I brought my mom exactly the same - we have a family love for overalls.

Dress Alexander Arutyunov, Kokoshnik Vardoui Nazarian

Dress poncho very beautiful cut. I do not know why, but I feel like a female warrior in it.

Kokoshnik I saw on the show Varduhi. Next to me was sitting photographer Lesha Kalabin and said: "Katya, you need this kokoshnik". I believe in the materialization of thoughts and desires. Varduhi gave it to me for my birthday. I love accessories for the head: in my opinion, they add incredible femininity to the image. At one time, she even dreamed of becoming a hair accessories designer and calling the brand Katococo. Dreams ended when I learned that there is a Japanese brand specializing in accessories, and it is called Coco Kato.

Avtandil Cape, Second Hand Skirt, T-shirt and Alexander Arutyunov Ankle Boots

Skirt bought in St. Petersburg's second for 400 rubles at the very moment when Chloe and Hermès released their leather collections.

I bought a cape at the Avtandil Tskvitinidze shop after it was shown at the Georgian Fashion Week. Avtandil is the most famous designer in Tbilisi, and Tbilisi is a city that rolled into my subconscious and stayed there forever.

The T-shirt is the pre-collection of the spring-summer 2013 season. These T-shirts are hand-painted and each peacock feather is unique. All those who have these T-shirts will confirm one thing: they cannot be removed from themselves. There is a rule among my friends: a person who will be the first to call all his acquaintances and tell about it will wear a t-shirt today.

Ankle boots from Sasha's 2012 summer collection. Presented them during the show in Tbilisi. Model girls complained that they were not used to walking on such high heels. But they were all of such incredible beauty that it was possible to forgive them for any nagging.

Ralph Lauren shirt, Tommy Hillfiger shorts, Fendi bag, Forever 21 necklace

I love Ralph Lauren things and I think that in the men's wardrobe of Ralph Lauren things are not many - only few or too few. This bought in the men's department in New York at Macy's department store. Then they told me a secret: I would have bought exactly the same two times cheaper if I had risen to the floor for children and teenagers.

I'm not a big fan of jewelry, so I rarely wear this necklace. But with him I have pleasant memories. I bought it in Los Angeles after my friend and I spent three days in the desert at the Coachella festival. We were happy, powerless and with backpacks behind our backs with “comfortable” clothes. It was a shame to fly to New York in such a way, so they decided to buy at least one decent set of clothes before departure.

I love shorts. I rarely wear jeans, trousers, and even more so in winter, when I have to wear tights under them. Hell! Moreover, if you wear cashmere tights and such warm shorts, they will be much warmer, although grandmothers on the street will see you off with a heavy look.

My good friend gave me the bag when I found out that I was dreaming of her. What else is there to add - God grant him health.

Topshop Romper, Chanel Decoration, Marc Jacobs Bag

I brought the overalls from London, when the coveted Topshop was not yet in Moscow. He is very beautiful, elegant and can easily replace an evening dress.

As I have already said, I am not a big fan of jewelry - in this question the female essence has not yet taken its toll. But it is difficult to refuse such a decoration.

When I flew to Paris, I made myself an ideal bag, which I would buy for a certain amount. I was waiting for only one such bag - in Colette. I love her very much for the texture and comfortable handle, which is adjustable in length.

Pants Blank, jacket no name, boots Dr. Martens x Raf Simons

I like what Lena Yurieva does and how she does it. Generally, when we lay with friends in front of the TV and watched the Olympic Games, we came to the conclusion that it would have been better to wear the Olympic form for our team.

A jacket resembling a bomber jacket was brought to me by my mother from France when I was still going to school. A thing for all time.

Martins are a gift. Strangely enough, we bought them in Moscow, in the Vesna shopping center on Kutuzovsky, in which such things are not in demand. On New Year's Eve, they stood and waited for me calmly. Then I stood at home for a long time - I could not wear them. With jeans - horror, with skirts and dresses - the end of the world. One of my friends turned out to be a genius - he advised to take them to a workshop in the area and mercilessly cut to the size of the Timberlands. So they became shorter by two holes and lost behind the tongue "Dr. Martens x Raf Simons", but now I can walk in them with almost anything.
