Twenty-one Miles Maclillan grew up in California in the family of a psychologist. The young man always dreamed of becoming an artist, so he studied art at New York University. About two years ago, they approached him on the street and offered to play for the Urban Outfitters catalog. Miles did not find a reason to refuse, but was not going to become a model either. He signed his first contract only a year later, when the training came to an end.
“Model business is much more important for girls because they earn more. They can actually build a career. While for men it’s just a reason to do something new. We are friendlier and more carefree. We don’t care so much what we we eat or look like. We just have a good time and don’t take it that seriously, "says Myles in an interview with New York Magazine.
Myles began his career with shooting for the Uniqlo campaign and participating in the FW 2011 autumn-winter shows, but they started talking about a young man after the SS 2012 men's fashion weeks. After appearing on the cover of Sportswear International, Miles worked with democratic brands: he became the face of Topman and starred for H & M magazine. In the summer of 2011, he appeared on the pages of Vogue Hommes Japan and AnOther Man, for which MacPhillian was removed by Jack Pearson, who taught at his university. At the September Fashion Week, he walked on Yigal Azrouel, Tommy Hilfiger, Rad by Rad Hourani and Richard Chai Love.
