Exactly three years ago, having attached to one of the most sought-after agencies in Denmark, 2pm, a 14-year-old Copenhagen native, Dorte Limkille, announced herself. Of course, neither the parents nor the school duties allowed the girl to travel abroad at such a young age, but she managed to make several test sets for the future portfolio in her hometown and work at the local Fashion Week.
In 2010, Dorté signed a contract with Ford, and a few months later appeared on the cover of Spur. Having successfully performed at shows in Copenhagen, the model became the face of the Japanese brand Jeanasis and hit the pages of Teen Vogue. One frame from this survey later migrated to the cover of the Korean edition of the magazine. Last summer, Dorte appeared in a picture of Prada's autumn-winter campaign and became the face of Sisley, after which the Italian Vogue called her one of the most promising beginner models. Over the past week, she managed to take part in five shows in Denmark, and the network has been filming with Limkilde for Dansk and the Pull & Bear campaign. Perhaps success awaits the girl and the recently launched major fashion weeks.
