For those whose childhood and adolescence came in the 90s, the grunge is especially close and understandable. It is not surprising that until now grunge images in clothes and make-up can be found everywhere - with popular bloggers, independent makeup artists, and even large brands. We tried to figure out how this style can look today and what is its strength.

For negligence, rudeness, dirt, and outrageous fashion, punk traditionally responded, which by now with all its standard attributes - leather, metal, holes, pins, very dark and very bright colors - looks familiar. A huge number of transformations and contacts with other currents turned its iconic elements into practically safe classics. Grunge is also a story about revolt, but much more practical and less ideological. It began as a rejection of conventional beauty in favor of absolute comfort: faded flannel shirts, disregard for cleanliness (first of all, hair), pale skin is emphasized. Everything pervaded the outsider spirit - in this eternal crisis it was most logical to dress like Kurt Cobain. Nevertheless, one cannot, of course, talk about the absolute lack of grandeur of grandeur and challenge: after all, this is an obvious attack against a culture of luxury, purity and well-being.

High fashion rated street style pretty quickly. It was the grunge collection that brought glory to Marc Jacobs - he still loves to fantasize on this topic.
