The main feature of Vaib Harslof jewelery is the details: that the pendants are made of chains on necklaces-chains, that the geometric bends of bracelets and rings.

Harslof studied at the School of Jewelry in Germany and for 10 years developed collections for Paul Smith. At the end of the zero she decided to launch a personalized brand of jewelry in Denmark, where she recently moved. She was immediately noticed by magazines like Elle, and recently Interview wrote about the girl’s work. Harslof comes up with decorations not only under his own brand, but also works with colleagues from Bijules and Wackerhaus. Now she is creating jewelery again in collaboration with designers from Berlin and Copenhagen and is planning a small exhibition in Japan.

When I was 18, I saw a graduation show at the German School of Design. One of the graduates showed a line of jewelry, and it literally opened my eyes to what I would like to do. Now it seems pretentious to me, but then I was fascinated by the fact that you can make ornaments from the materials and objects that surround you. I started from a job as a jeweler with the Danish brand Jane Kønig to see if I liked this business - and I liked everything, so I decided to graduate from a specialized school. I create all the jewelry by hand in vintage techniques for jewelry, using only gold and silver. I think every girl should have handmade jewelry; this is such a cool and understandable way to make the outfit unique. I hope my clients strive for uniqueness, because in the world, when even street fashion repeats catwalk shows, this is very important.
