Brain orgasm: Channels with soothing ASMR video
alexander savina
The abbreviation ASMR means "autonomous sensory meridional reaction". So they call a pleasant sensation (tingling in the back of the head or goosebumps), which some people experience in response to sound, visual or other stimuli. ASMR-sensitive people can react, for example, to whisper, quiet speech or sounds, rustling, tapping with nails on the surface, blowing into the microphone, smooth hand movements and much more. There is a whole genre of ASMP video — so popular that even W Magazine makes them. They may seem strange to a person unfamiliar with ASID: for example, the authors of the commercials often depict someone - travel agents or receptionists, whisper or speak quietly, turn to the audience as good friends, or, for example, unpack the package or draw for several minutes.
Although the effect of ASMR is often referred to as "braingasm", there is no sexual overtones in these videos: ASMR-sensitive people watch them to relax, calm down, or get rid of sleep problems. We have selected several YouTube channels to help with this.
Gentle Whispering ASMR
Gentle Whispering account is led by Maria, who is rightfully considered the queen of the genre - almost a million subscribers the best proof. The creator of Gentle Whispering is from Russia, but lives in the States, so the video does mostly in English. The asmrshchitsy have works for every taste - from rolleys (video in which she portrays another person - for example, a doctor or teacher), including in Russian, before sorting out purchases, make-up and combing hair. And she also has a vlog channel, whose videos soothe no less; there she, by the way, conducts including magical rituals every new moon and full moon.
Heather Feather ASMR
Another popular blog of the ACMP. Most often, Heather shoots all the same rolleys, but in addition to them there are also soothing sounds, and training AFMR videos, instructions for meditation, and videos that should help you fall asleep. For several years, the existence of the channel Heather managed to collect more than 120 million views - an impressive result. Recently, an asmrschitsa moved to a new house, where she set up in the basement a whole studio for recording video with noise insulation, a set of backgrounds and a lot of shelving for scrap materials. It seems that work on it continues, and therefore it loads videos less frequently than before.
fastASMR
There are a lot of different videos on the fastASMR channel: our favorite is a movie with a mermaid pillow, but there are also rolleys and videos where the author whispers the text, and ASMR triggers, and videos with kinetic sand, and even videos where the author pretends that cleans the viewer's ears. For maximum effect, the video is better to look in the headphones - they use the "surround" sound. Like many artists who are ASMR artists (or artists - depending on which translation you like more), the girl is recording audio on a microphone that looks like a cylinder with two ears - so the sensations are as close to reality as possible.
ASMRrequests
Ellie came up with ASMRrequests after she recorded an ASMR video for her boyfriend as a joke - she liked it so much that she decided to try doing it for other people. Strangers on the Internet have appreciated the efforts, in part because aspirant rollers in terms of production are head and shoulders above the work of colleagues and sometimes even use good special effects. Now the girl also writes down quiet vlogs and videos with tapping and experiments with genres, combining several scenarios at once. Ellie herself says that at first she was not ASMR-sensitive, but gradually learned to experience these sensations - so if now you don’t feel a slight tingling sensation and calmly react to various triggers, it doesn’t mean anything.
albinwhisperland
Hey Bee from the country of whispering is a real fan of everything vintage and feminine, so he tries not to change his usual style in his videos either; You can follow her hobbies on the second, not ASRM, channel. The author herself is like a princess Cud - such delicious pink hair is rarely seen in life; sometimes on the channel she even uses them as a trigger, combing or braiding. In general, the video is not so much, but they are all made incredibly delicately: the creator of the channel scrolls through the books, paints illustrations, unpacks the delivery boxes and prepares, whispering commenting on their actions. Sometimes she appears as Mortishi Addams - naturally, also in the ACMP genre.
Made In France ASMR
The French ASMR channel, the author of which does not show a face - even in rolplays, you can see its chin at best. The channel has videos in English and French, although the author doesn’t say anything in many commercials - for example, he has a whole playlist devoted to objects and sounds that they make, such as matches, which they put out in the water. Someone may find it boring, but believe me - it is a pleasure to fall asleep under lulling sizzling or tapping sounds.
Unintentional ASMR
The authors of this small channel do not shoot videos themselves, but only collect videos shot by others. If you think about it, many more than once experienced relaxation from the most unexpected things - they lull the document well, let's say, documentary footage of nature. None of the videos on the channel was meant as an ASMR, but they all are full of triggers: here the masters cut a feather from wood, people work with leather, others repair a book, or write with a fountain pen. So you can calm your nerves and learn something interesting.
EMOJOIE CUISINE
Channel EMOJOIE CUISINE also offers to combine business with pleasure. These are rollers with step-by-step recipes, the sound of which is recorded in the spirit of ASMR: you can hear how cookies are pounded for cheesecake, how sugar is poured into a bowl, how ingredients are mixed or how the mixture boils on the stove. For the best effect, the creators of the channel recommend each video to watch in headphones. In general, be careful - falling asleep on the included plate can be dangerous.
Bob ross
The heyday of the TV presenter Bob Ross came at a time when the concept of ASRI did not exist yet - but it was he who contributed to its appearance. More than ten years, Ross led the program "The Joy of Painting", in which he taught the audience to draw. The artist speaks in a not too quiet but calm and measured voice, besides he deliberately loudly mixes paint and leads the brush with a brush on the canvas - quite an ASRM. Many modern bloggers admit that the transfer of Ross was their first ASMR experience and that they still remember him with warmth.
