He is back. Nokia's Finns re-released what was called the word “brick” in Russia - their legendary model 3310. Unkillable device, in which the functions of calling and sending messages were combined with the ability to play snake for hours.
Seventeen years have passed. Of course, the design has undergone changes and already slightly resembles its predecessor, but all the other advantages are in place: both a long charge (twenty-two hours in talk mode and a month in standby mode), and a snake (now she eats fruit). Plus, the phone has a two-megapixel camera, a 2.4-inch color screen, a radio, an MP3 player and even a slot for memory cards. A version for two SIM cards will also be available. 3310 will be released in four colors: red, yellow, dark blue and gray.
Rumors about the restart of the most popular model in the history of Nokia (126 million units sold) went long ago, but the Finns announced its release as never before: the market is clearly filled with smartphones and people get tired of being online twenty-four hours a day, gradually choosing more ascetic devices.
