At school in her native Antwerp, Lisa Verbergt was teased because of her height, and, like most models, she at first did not think about a career in the fashion industry. When the girl was twelve years old, a scout noticed her leaving the cinema and left her contacts. Lisa was not going to call until after a couple of days she was seen again: this time in the store and another agent. Then she decided to try herself as a model, sent her pictures to Dominique and signed a contract with them.

For a long time, Liza was not paid attention, probably because of her young age. Therefore, the invitation to the casting of Walter Van Beirendonck was a great surprise for her. Having personally talked with Walter Van Beyrendonkom, the model debuted at the Paris designer show in the season of SS 2011.

Soon after, the girl noticed i-D and took off for a new number. However, with the exception of this, she very rarely worked, as she had to finish school. Only for the SS 2013 shows Lisa went to Milan and Paris. At the Fashion Week, she made four shows, which were enough to make herself known and confidently go to auditions for the next season: they were Prada, John Galliano, Giambattista Valli and Moncler Gamme Rouge.

Before the New York shows, which will end in two days, the seventeen-year-old model had time to withdraw for the pre-autumn Alexander Wang catalog and give a short interview to the Italian Vogue. After that, the girl, who is often compared to Linda Evangelista, went to America on behalf of the agency Women. In a few days of showing her fall-winter collections, she managed to work with Alexander Wang again, walk on Marc by Marc Jacobs, Theyskens' Theory, Rodarte and will most likely repeat the success of last season in other fashion capitals.
