How to make a festive makeup resistant

From makeup for the New Year's party, about which everything is no, no, yes, and thinking, it requires not only elegance, but also endurance - who wants to worry about lipstick after champagne and cake, and dancing, and everything else. It is best to choose water-resistant products for this, but not everything is so simple: first, it is not always possible to buy several new cans at once, and secondly, you can successfully make more familiar cosmetics more resistant. We asked Elvira Chabakauri, a beauty blogger and a great connoisseur of makeup, to tell about how to make a festive and everyday make-up so that it would endure even the most outgoing party.
First of all, it is worthwhile to accept the fact that lasting make-up will take longer than everyday wear. For it, it is worthwhile to choose proven means that have already proved themselves to be resistant, or those on which this particular effect is claimed. If you don’t have these, you can get by with a layering: first apply cream products, and dry them on them. Eye makeup, for example, will last much longer with a base under the shade. Smashbox 24 Hour Photo Finish Shadow Primer, in my opinion, is no less good than the famous Urban Decay Primer Potion, and the brand can still be found more often. If there is no base, it is worth using cream shades, and apply dry ones on them. For this good MAC Paint Pot and their available analog Maybelline Color Tattoo. Especially well this technique works if you can not achieve the desired intensity of blue, violet, green hue.
Lamination works not only in the makeup of the eyes, but also with sculpturing and rouge. In both cases, you need to put on your face a thin layer of cream products, powder, and then another thin layer of dry products. What exactly it is to use a double layer depends on your mood and habit: sculpture is particularly expensive for someone, a ruddy look to someone. In artificial light, eyebrows may look different: everything that is well made up during the day may disappear, or, which is worse, only a part can disappear. Therefore, it is worth applying a double layer of gel or mascara for eyebrows and, even if you are still beautiful in the afternoon, look at yourself, for example, in the bathroom. My current hobby is limited edition "L'Etoile" Selection gels with fibers. I like their color palette, plus they give extra volume and color to the hairs. However, if the density of eyebrows does not suit you, you should choose not them, but the means that dye the skin directly: lipsticks, pencils, markers.
For a responsible event, where you have to eat and drink, it is easier to focus on the eyes or glowing skin.
For the lips, there are good old pencils that traditionally last longer than lipstick. It seems to me that for some responsible event where you have to eat and drink, it is easier to focus on the eyes or on the radiant skin than on the lips. But if you really want bright lips, it is better to evaluate just in case how makeup will look when lipstick is slightly erased, and to think whether this red (black, blue, wine) lipstick will make you nervous and constantly distracted from fun. There are also make-up fixing sprays. They are not all great, I have only got one so far, which is not just a pleasant refreshing tonic - this is the Urban Decay De-Slick Oil Control Makeup Setting Spray. Whatever the persistent cosmetics you used, you should think about how to make up during your stormy night, evening or day. The easiest way to refresh your face, besides the budget and does not require even a mirror - matting napkins. I use them sometimes, not going to the ladies' room, but simply turning away. Why, there - even carry a pack in your coat pocket. If you see me in the subway, applying napkins to the forehead, yes, I probably go to some presentation. I believe that this is not the most intimate gesture, as well as lip painting. After blotting, you can dust or spray your face with a moisturizing spray first. And when the moisture is absorbed and evaporate (the skin does not dry, as it already has cosmetics), you can use a compact powder and, if necessary, update, for example, blush or bronzer.
Particular attention should be paid to the area under the eyes - where after a whole day the ink could crumble or concealer. For correction, there is nothing better than cotton swabs or clean fingers. If carefully concealed bruises began to appear under the concealer, it is better to remove the remnants of it with a cotton swab and apply a new thin layer that will disguise what could "float" from eye makeup. I love it for a good balance of light reflection and pigmentation.
There are three more techniques that will help refresh your eyes: put another layer of mascara on the upper eyelashes, bright shining shadows - in the inner corners of the eyes (it is quite convenient to do with your finger) and light-beige Cayal - on the mucous membrane. With any makeup, it will look good and hide fatigue. For a more collected look, it would be nice to tint eyebrows and renew the contour of the lips. By the way, if you put a bright lipstick, it would be nice to have with you a toned balsam of the same color - you can apply it without washing off the lipstick. And if the lips are dry, the balm will also help.
