Wearable devices that control the number of steps, kilometers traveled, or calories burned have become so familiar that they increasingly appear in completely unexpected form factors - for example, in the form of chips embedded in socks or a bra. But the bracelets do not lose ground: now they are able to measure the pulse at a moderate cost (previously, a special sensor on the chest was needed for this) and, for example, to determine the level of hydration - that is, if you drink enough.
Using infrared ray-based technology, the LVL bracelet determines the fluid content in the body and reminds you when it's time to drink a glass of water. The device also registers the usual calories, kilometers, steps, and sleep parameters, so it may well be the only activity sensor. As for the design, the choice is still small and limited to black and brown leather straps and a black or dark blue silicone bracelet.
