Your subscription will help one of the many initiatives of the fund: training guide dogs, paying lawyers for the Mother's Right Foundation or buying a horse for hippotherapy for children with cerebral palsy. Reading the description of the projects, you feel excitement in the most beautiful sense of the word, I want to help everyone at once, and charity ceases to seem something emotionally exhausting - good gifts should be just like that, useful and inspiring.
To organize a holiday for the elderly from the fund "Old Age to Joy"
Many people know about the “Old Age to Joy” foundation, but that elderly and often single people, apart from clothes and products, need more joy, fun and holidays — few people. In addition to the obvious fundraising and transportation assistance, the foundation also asks volunteers to help organize events for the fund's clients, small concerts and generally organize leisure activities. Before the New Year, older people are even more depressed than we are, they also sum up the year, and even life, and will also be happy for a cheerful company: collect your board games, music, take friends and go to one of the nursing homes in your area - "Old age in joy" is always waiting for volunteers who are ready to have a party. On the Foundation’s website, you can find the address of one of the houses (great news — the Foundation operates throughout Russia) and look at reports from previous holidays in order to understand in advance what the situation will be in the event. You will finally be able to confirm your status as the world's best event manager, and the “ba-de”, as they are called by the foundation staff, is to spend a good day.
Become a member of the PET team with your dog
The PET Foundation provokes attacks of emotion worse than Tiffany's Christmas commercials - the founders of the foundation gathered the rescued mongrels, inculcated them and conducted a course of training, and now these glorious dogs help everyone who needs a friend. Dog therapy as a means of rehabilitation began in 1976, but came to Russia relatively recently, which is why it is pleasant. The PET team recruits volunteer groups who then travel to nursing homes, orphanages, and even simple libraries, where they play with doggies, embrace, or simply read to everyone who needs a little love. If you have a mongrel dog living at home (this is a prerequisite for recruitment) who is not afraid of large crowds of people, vaccinated and well-intentioned, then you can enroll in a volunteer group and after a small training, join the PET team. Another site has a list of dogs that have already been trained, but have not yet found a home - and if your mother has long dreamed about a companion, then this is your lucky ticket.
Take part in the race organized by the fund "Faith"
Charity races are almost the simplest and most fun event that helps people, and the Vera Hospice Foundation is engaged in almost the most difficult and sad cause in the world. A couple of years ago, these two things combined and went a fun and beautiful race of Santa Clauses. The New Year Run works in the same way as all charity runs: you buy tickets, get a number, Santa Claus or Snow Maiden costume and a medal at the end, and all the proceeds are received by the Vera Foundation and it uses regional hospices to help and purchase the necessary equipment. If you run very lazy, you can choose the option "Lazy Santa Claus": you buy a ticket, no one forces you to run, but an e-medal is sent to the post office - ideal for those who did not fulfill their New Year's promise and never ran 5K in 2015.

Having opened your wardrobe in search of something new for a New Year's party, you almost certainly found a pile of clothes that you no longer need, but it is a pity to throw it away - clean, whole and new, just not in your style anymore. If this statement is true, then instead of a swap (there will be swaps in your life!) Things can and even should be referred to the Orthodox service "Mercy", which has been helping all those in need for many years, and especially the homeless. Existing since the beginning of the zero subproject "Mercy" - "Hangar rescue", which provides a warm place for the homeless for the night, has long grown into something more and besides sleeping and eating helps people to adapt, find a job, restore documents or buy tickets home. And even T-shirts from H & M, which are bored with you and your boyfriend, will help a person who is much less fortunate in life.
