RFW: six young designers
It is not the first season that the organizers of Russian Fashion Week not only prepare the main program, that is, shows, but also try to support young novice designers. With all the desire, not every designer has the opportunity to participate in the main RFW schedule - expensive. But participation in the presentation format is absolutely free. The designer sends a request to RFW, and a special commission selects the best in her opinion. Next, the designer is given one day and a small space, which he can use and organize at will. By the way, for some designers, the small black space turned out to be even redundant: one rail with several things and a couple of fashion photographs hung on the wall - that's the whole presentation.
Masha Yankovskaya
Masha Yankovskaya moved from St. Petersburg to Moscow a little less than a year ago. Masha's capsule collections were very holistic and won at the expense of minimalism fashion - so her dresses quickly began to be sold in Twins Shopp in Solyanka. The machines with a stand of soothing colors existed at the WTC for two days - she was lucky and she changed the designers who could not take part in the RFW presentation program. The audience was greeted by two dresses of free cut in the style of Greek goddesses and a purely St. Petersburg story - apples with brandy.
Orhateme
Young designers Helene and Natalie have so far declared themselves rather modestly. But now it is clear that if the brand will develop in the same style and pace, then the girls have a great future ahead. Helene and Natalie create things for the same as they are - young, modest, but not without rebelliousness and somewhat fanciful sexuality. In the collection, the designers presented knitted items (warm shorts deserve special attention), a woolen jacket and several satin evening wardrobe details. Very convincingly - I wanted to turn everything in my hands and measure. The only pity is that there were so few things.
Olia feshina
Designer Olga Feshina sewed things inspired by the East for many years, and brought fabrics from travels in Indonesia. This time she showed a collection of jewelry called Summer. Hot. Icicles made of iron, aluminum, rubber, silicone, plastic, textiles, wood and stone. The decorations were hung on the slate, and the impression was that this was a wall of a house covered with winter icicles. By the way, the collection is intended for both women and men.
Katerina levina
Katerina Levina was the strongest of the young designers who participated in the RFW presentations. Levina has a clear idea of what she wants to do, there is a concept, and it is not the first season that she shows decent concise women's collections. Katya is trying to show how a person’s individuality is lost in the context of today's life - the environment is too pressing and can negatively affect the inner world. Therefore, most of the things are made on the basis that each person will be able to modify this thing — tuck it somewhere, tie it up. If a thing is knitted, a skein of wool is attached to it - what if the owner wants to tie it up? Men's and women's summer shoes deserve special attention, as well as the touching author's print - if you look closely, you can see curly horses, perfume bottles and birds on a pastel yellow background.
Fortytwo
The guys from the young brand FortyTwo do not pursue trends, do not try to declare themselves loudly, but simply do things that seem to be relevant to them. Their presentation, I must admit, looked like the dressing room of the average hipster - pants, skirts, stripe, cell, bright prints. The concept is funny, and the statement that they are too lazy to conquer the world - too. True, why then participate in the RFW?
Bugaz
Svetlana Ruzhitskaya when creating the collection tried to imagine what a modern Harlequin would look like. The recognizable lozenges of bright colors turned gray-blue from her, and they were very theatrically sewn onto dresses. The designer is clearly focused on the cut - it is literally seen from things how their creators suffered. All things are complex, quite voluminous, and sometimes they are difficult to imagine on a modern girl.
