Yes and No: How to care for yourself in the spring

It's officially spring outside and there is every chance that the weather will continue to only please (just in case and reluctantly leave here a link to the rules of winter care). We hope for the best and explain which cosmetics and methods should be discarded and what should be added to the spring pack.

Lightweight textures

In this, like now, the off-season nourishing cream may still be needed, but it is worth getting a simple moisturizer. Oily skin may also be treated with a serum tonic — or it may not be enough — but such a scheme is worth a try. Whatever the skin type, let us remind ourselves: first a tonic, then a serum, then a cream. The same applies to body products - it's time to replace the dense butters with lotions.

 

Moisturizing

Who drank water in the winter and bought air humidifiers in the office and home, he did it. The one who was too lazy, now probably suffers from dehydrated skin. To return it to a normal state, it is necessary to press on moisturizers, for example, on serums and pure hyaluronic acid. The lighter the texture, the more comfortable it will be with oily skin.

SPF

Last time (actually not) talking about him. Sunblock with any factor does not fully protect against ultraviolet radiation, but still protects. If you have a day in the office, non-water resistant SPF15, applied on top of the cream and up to make-up, is enough. Waterproof sanskrins with high protection will be needed for days of strong solar activity, and they need to be applied to just cleansed skin.

 

Exfoliation

In order for the skin to absorb nutrients better, it needs to be well and carefully cleaned. There are many options: Clarisonic with a gentle nozzle, sponge konnyaku or familiar scrubs with abrasive particles.

Ignore Matting Wipes

Any matting wipes more or less absorb fat, which during the day exudes any type of skin. Glitter can be neutralized and powder, but when you layered it, it looks hardly more neat than the shining T-zone. The most convenient non-paper napkins are large in size, like a MAC or Shiseido.

 

Drink little water

We can not fail to mention this already jagged advice - it is really important. No hand cream with shea butter will remove dryness if you drink coffee in liters, sit in still heated rooms and do not drink enough non-carbonated and non-sweet water. It is believed that a healthy adult needs 1.5-2 liters per day, but may be more comfortable a little more or less.

Use acid

Unlike scrubs and nourishing creams, they should be postponed - just in case. In the spring, the risk of pigmentation during the course of treatment with acids increases, and even under a layer of Sanskrin, it is not worth the risk - some pigment spots are not removed at all. Photoepilation for the same reason should be postponed until winter.

Forget neckline and neck

Timeless advice. You always want your favorite cream to last longer, but you shouldn't skimp on caring for these zones (not so much for others). Cleansing and moisturizing masks, serums, creams - all this will be useful not only for the face area, but also for the neckline, neck and ears.
