Talk to her: Interview with Russian-speaking Siri
One of the main news of the day is the release of a new version of iOS 8.3 for Apple devices, more precisely, one of its features: Siri voice assistant now spoke in Russian. The appearance of Siri in 2011 seemed to be a sign of the coming future, however, it soon became clear that its artificial intelligence is exactly enough for targeted tasks like searching in Wikipedia and on Google maps, and it often answers the questions about the meaning of life a set of wits. We decided to find out whether Siri has become a bit more like the heroine Scarlett Johansson in the film “She” over the past four years and how well she speaks Russian.
