VERDÚU: The fragrances of the creator of the first smells of Comme des Garçons

Under the heading "New Brand" We are talking about cool, independent and big brands that have just appeared - or became famous for a long time and finally became available in Russia.

If you like "not like all" fragrances, you probably know the compositions of the perfumer Mark Buxton. He is the author of the legendary Comme des Garçons 2, the creator of La Folie a Plusieurs, an amazing cine line (which included the scents of the Entrance to the Void by Gaspard Noe, Lobster by Yorgos Lantimos, Hate by Mathieu Kassovitsa), a very prolific and tireless nose . His next collaboration looks at least as an interesting application, and on closer acquaintance it turns out to be a vivid example of modern perfumery art.

Four flavors reached Russia (the fifth one is on the way - in collaboration with Woolmark Prize winner Matthew Miller, black currant, frankincense and hemp), each of which is worth attention. Hien Lee, Sisi Goetze, Michael Sontag and Christopher Shannon took part in creating the compositions. Most warmly, buyers take the Form of Mark Buxton and Michael Sontag, the scent of an “old wooden box” that absorbed the smells of souvenir trifles kept in it: a warm tree against the background of dried flowers. We like the fragrance most of all, under which Christopher Shannon subscribed. He was thought of as the smell of childhood spent in Liverpool - a little industrial, but clean and comfortable. The result was a complex cocktail of spices, lavender, citrus and wood, literally painting images before my eyes.
