We do not want to jinx it, but it seems that summer is finally swinging. On this occasion, we asked the stylists about what trends will be relevant in the coming three months, how to adapt them to the Russian climate, what seasonal things to pay attention to and what to be guided in when drawing up fashionable images. In general, if you are ready not to deny anything - the advice of our experts will help you to understand what things are rationally invested in, and which of the already purchased ones will be adapted.
For me, a summer wardrobe is a minimum of clothes, as a rule, light and comfortable. Summer is the time when you least want to dress. I have a long-time love for men's printed shirts and Hawaiian-style shirts; I like the combination of hawak with frivolous colors, such as the Palm Angels. I also like the rethinking of the office dress code, when the two-piece suits are combined with street clothes and sports shoes, as in Belinsky, Rubchinsky or Versus shows.
The main shoe of the summer can be called shoes without a backdrop - mules or flip-flops - they can be found everywhere, including very cheap. Of course, not to do without sports models. As in the past year, transparent materials and things with cutouts, frills, pleating and asymmetry remain relevant this summer. The most beautiful pleating, in my opinion, turned out to be Marni and Jil Sander, but something similar can be found in the mass market and Russian brands. You should also pay attention to the silhouette and volume in the spirit of the 80s. Even light summer dresses and tops will look more interesting with an emphasis on the shoulder line, for example, like Jacquemus. For inspiration, I also advise you to turn to the shows of Stella McCartney, Tibi, Lemaire, which showed the perfect summer collections for the city.
For a vacation at sea, you should not invest in expensive things: salt water, sea air and the sun will not spare them. But this is a reason to take with you everything that you can be uncomfortable wearing in the city - for example, very short dresses and shorts, similar to bathing trunks, for example, like Prada (there are similar ones in Zara). The most necessary thing for a trip to the sea is a pair of high-quality swimsuits, really sunglasses and a hat protecting from the sun. The rest will be great to buy on the spot and bring souvenirs instead.
I am for comfort at any time of the year. In the hot summer - only light and breathable materials. Therefore, I plan to add to the wardrobe linen. I like the muted shirts in Uniqlo. Shirts with puffy sleeves, microshorts, crop tops, huge straw hats and wicker bags - everything you need to take to the beach in 2017. I always had a pink color, but for a long time the designers ignored it; Finally, you can safely buy all its shades and not feel uncomfortable. This year marks unanimously made pink things. My favorite options are a relaxed male suit, like Lacoste's, absolutely freaky, but incredibly beautiful pink Gucci suit and a Céline cloak dress.

The hit of this summer - mules, grannies and simple slippers without a heel. They can be worn in the city, complementing them with straight, slightly cropped jeans or pants, but on the beach they will look organic. The most fashionable options can be found at Mansur Gavriel and By Far, more affordable - in Mango. If you want to refresh your wardrobe without spending a fortune, I advise you to pay attention to wicker bags. This could be a basket of the type worn by Jane Birkin, a trendy Cult Gaia arch bag or simple shoppers. And do not be afraid to wear them in the city - they are perfectly combined with denim, cotton, light lace, enlivening the image.
Judging by the weather in Moscow, this summer we may need everything down to the cashmere scarf, so I would not advise you to remove the rain coat and rubber boots.
