Forbidden per child: Jamon by weight of a baby as a gift

The largest manufacturer of jamon, the Spanish company Navidul, for several years, holds a lottery for those who have just become parents. After the birth of the child (and until the 9th day of the next month), it is proposed to register on the page with the hashtag #unjamonbajoelbrazo (#jamonpodmyskoy). Then the lottery itself is held, and the winners are asked to send a copy of the discharge from the maternity hospital with the weight of the newborn within a few days. That will be the weight of jamon, which the winners will receive as a gift.

According to the company, 89% of pregnant women say that they really lack the opportunity to eat jamon. It sounds strange to the people of Russia, but the ham jamon sandwich is one of the typical Spanish breakfasts; pregnant women are not recommended to eat meat that has not undergone heat treatment, since it may contain causative agents of toxoplasmosis, a disease extremely dangerous for the fetus. So it turns out very appropriate gift.
