How to approach the unusual cosmetics
Masha Vorslav
Many perceive decorative cosmetics as a way to hide the "flaws" and emphasize the "virtues". And this is their choice (like any other), but it seems to us that the possibilities of cosmetics are much wider - and everyone can discover them for themselves. Even if you don’t want to express yourself through make-up as actively as, for example, the heroes of this favorite of our public, but the desire to diversify the face is still present - stop limiting yourself to only familiar shades, textures and means. We still have a few thoughts that will help to go beyond even the most conservative readers.
One of the things for the use of which most often are looking for either a special, mostly festive occasion, or even completely avoided - false eyelashes. In fact, with the help of them you can make something more interesting and subtle than Kim Kardashian's makeup, which wears long eyelashes, it seems, without removing it. Single bunches are not the easiest to use, but they look as natural as possible and at the same time make you a deer without much effort. Here, for example, is clearly visible the difference between thickly painted eyelashes and those that are complemented by overhead. If the bundles are not yet obtained, you can try the eyelashes-corners, which glue for half a century - they also do not look as foreign as the whole, and it is easier to cope with them. In the category there are more interesting things, for example, colored or metallized beams - mark them in order to remind once again how far you can step into the make-up.
Bright color scares many no less, and even more. With eye shadows, everything is simple: either buy a good primer like Urban Decay that finally arrived in Moscow and wear shadows in a dense layer, as the creators had conceived, or stop at half measure and shade them into a barely visible smoke. But with rouge more interesting. Even the most crazy in color copies (by the way, they are produced by popular brands like Chanel and Bobbi Brown) can be adapted to those who like a natural blush. Red, magenta, burgundy shades can be stretched on the skin in such a thin layer that they will look not eccentric, but interesting. Well and yes, once again we will make a reservation that it is quite possible to use blush as shadows and to make with their help a make-up. And it is not necessary to paint the entire mobile eyelid with them, as they did to show Max Mara SS15, - a thin colored arrow, in our opinion, is a sufficient compromise for those who want to and prick.
Another simple but not obvious way to diversify the image is to use a bronzer. As before, we consider superfluous contouring superfluous, but bronzers are not about it. Means of a successful shade can be used to underline the cheekbones and other facial relief, and to give it a so-called rested appearance. We know that girls with pale skin avoid tanning powders, but with a good brush that collects little money and perfectly shading it (duofiber is quite suitable) almost any can be applied so that the face instantly “burns”.
We could continue to disassemble every seemingly controversial jar and suggest how to cope with it, but then you would have to quit your job in order to have enough time and finish reading this text to the end. It’s better to say once again what it is worth remembering to everyone who really cares about cosmetics. First, it can be used not only as it is written on the package. We do not have gouache, which can be painted only the upper or lower part of the picture, so why divide cosmetics according to the local principle? How to apply this or that tool is determined only by its technical characteristics (sticky, durable, bright it) and personal vision. Even YSL pushes consumers to this, releasing liquid pigments that can be applied to lips and cheeks - and the brand, as we understand, is oriented towards a wide audience that is not inclined to experiment.
Secondly, do not be afraid that the makeup will turn out to be imperfect. Erase a curved line is simple, and even easier not to bother and allow yourself to be wrong. Even experienced makeup artists sometimes have punctures: the pigment does not fall, the eyeliner exfoliates, the color does not look the way we would like, so why treat yourself so strictly not to give yourself the right to look different (and "good" and " badly")? It is better to forget about the opinions of others: of course, we all live in society and must reckon with its laws and customs, but neither blue lipstick nor green hair violates anyone's rights. Therefore, during the next approach to the mirror, we advise you to remember the saying “my body is my business”, to relax and, for example, apply a gold liner to the lips.
