Links fucking chain: Alec Baldwin does not want to be a star
Alec Baldwin, following Shaia LaBeouf and James Franco, decided to speak out about his popularity and talk about public life. The actor published a huge column in New York Magazine, where he consistently traversed all the labels that were attached to him in the media, and sums up that he will no longer allow himself to be a victim of the mass media. In thirty thousand signs under the heading "Farewell, public life," the actor explains that he is not at all homophobic (as the press claimed), that his statements are misinterpreted, that his actions are always explained by circumstances and that he is a scapegoat. At the end of the column, Baldwin announces that he is tired of all this and is tying up with show business.
The essay begins with a story about how the media made Baldwin homophobic. The individual representatives, whom he blames for putting this label on, are called by the actor "the Gay Department of Justice". It seems that Baldwin really does not understand why no one wants to work with him because of his amazing vocabulary. The fact is that the actor’s problematic relations with the media began in June 2013 after the funeral of James Gandolfini - Baldwin’s wife was accused of constantly tweeting during the funeral. Baldwin called the reporter who reported this a "poisonous little princess," and in November, during a trial of a female stalker, he called the photographer a "pidor cock sucker" ("cocksucking fag"). All this happened during the work of Baldwin on a new talk show, where he acted as a presenter. After cases of speech incontinence, the actor was dismissed from the show.
Apparently, we are experiencing a rebirth of the entire celebrity institute: now the stars themselves spread their personal life on the social network, find out the relationship with each other on the pages of world publications, and also publicly declare that they do not like publicity.
