Emoji for all occasions with Iris Apfel

The Macy's chain of stores has released emoji dedicated to Iris Apfel, a designer and collector, known for her extravagant style and ironic attitude to fashion. In August, the style icon will celebrate its 95th birthday, to which the holiday set is timed.

Among the new Emoji are images of Iris herself in recognizable round glasses and bright jewelery, shoes and accessories from the Apfel joint collection and the INC International Concepts brand, as well as bottles of rose and white wine. Some of the famous aphorisms of Apfel were also converted into emoji, for example: “More is more, and less is boring,” “I have never met a color that I don’t like.”

“I myself am too old for Emoji, I didn’t know what it was,” said Apfel. “But everyone seems to like them, and I want everyone to be good. If my face pleases someone, I’m all for it” .
