Collar zone: 10 marks, producing removable collars

Cece toppings

One day, American Jamie Turks put a sweater on top of her favorite shirt and felt uncomfortable. Then she took the scissors and cut off most of the shirt, leaving the collar with the shirt intact. The resulting wardrobe item, called topping, was appreciated by friends of Jamie, and she decided to create her own brand CeCe Toppings. Now the Turki brand produces hat-shaped sleeves with sharp corners, with round collars in the style of Peter Pen and frill-collars with removable bows. In CeCe Toppings, they are either plain, for example white, pink or blue, or with a print - leopard, checkered or in peas.

Eleven objects

Eleven Objects was created by a Parsons school graduate and former designer Alexander Wang and TSE Linh Thi Zo and owner of her own brand Crhee Christina Ree. Americans specialize exclusively in accessories, and in their first collections released for the FW 2011 and Resort 2012 seasons - only removable collars. Eleven Objects sew them from leather, pony and silk skins, decorate them with drawings, and also decorate them with Swarovski sparkles, rivets and rhinestones.

Cabinet

Under the Cabinet, launched in 2008, London residents Gemma Critchley and Zara Braganca create limited collections of jewelry made from unusual materials such as corals, antique fabrics and metals found during their travels. Not long ago, Gemma and Zara released a small off-season collection of removable collars. They are sewn of white silk and decorated with unusual details: ivory, moonstone and vintage beads brought from France.

Gemma lister

Jeweler Gemma Lister is known for rings and earrings in the form of cube frame models. For a couple of years her bow ties and removable collars have been popular. Both those and others the British make of dyed leather and fur, decorate with sequins, large rhinestones and plain prints. The Perm brand Stern creates jewelery - brooches, pendants and rims - from kraft paper, plastic and iron. Each item brand produces no more than 20 copies. In the new Stern collections there are white and black thread collars, in the following lines they will be painted with flowers.

Lake & liberty

Londoners Robin Lake and Liberty Ferns hand-sew leather accessories under the brand Lake & Liberty. Their ruffled collar, inspired by the collar of Queen Elizabeth, has been worn by the singer Lady Gaga more than once. However, designers have become popular not only because of it: this season, their high collars are used in styling on fetish, which can be traced in the new collections of Alexander McQueen and Louis Vuitton.

Dannijo

The creators of the new Dannijo brand in New York are the sisters Daniella and Jody Snyder. Designers produce jewelry and bags, and in their new collection - a lot of massive necklaces, including in the form of collars.

Uncommon matters

Ceramic butterflies are produced by the Cor Sine Labe Doli brand, and Uncommon Matters is responsible for ceramic collars, bracelets, rings and necklaces. German designer Ameli Reich, who heads it, creates his jewelry by hand and almost never changes their design.

Dimepiece

Under the Dime Piece brand, designers Ashley Jones and Laura Fama create things with prints with feminist slogans, as well as sew clothes inspired by pop culture. After seeing the collection of Miu Miu SS 2010, in which Miuccia Prada showed removable collars with cats and swallows, Ashley and Laura decided to also release this accessory. As a result, collars with crosses and the inscription "Bitches Be Trippin" were born.
