The Japanese mass market Uniqlo has twice collaborated with the French designer Christophe Lemaire. After successful collaborations, the latter were offered to become the creative director of the Uniqlo R & D research and design center in Paris and the Uniqlo U line. A day ahead of time, it will also be sold in a pop-up store in Moscow, which will work until October 16.
The Uniqlo U collection has re-entered exclusively laconic things from materials that you will rarely see in other brands of the mass market - for example, from merino wool. There are no prints in the collection, but all the colors are complex - as per selection. Dusty pink cashmere turtlenecks, burgundy hoodie, gray, well-tailored coats, as well as any basic wardrobe accessories that ennoble them - “inflated” backpacks, mittens and scarves. We suspect that despite the relatively high price, the pop-up store will have nothing to offer to buyers on the closing day.
