Trend: backpacks
The trend is a weekly heading telling about popular fashion trends and showing where they came from and how they are treated on the catwalks and on the street.
After the rampant fashion for clutches and bags with chains, a new one has arrived - on backpacks.
By themselves, backpacks have long ceased to be associated with Japanese tourists, mountaineering equipment and school uniforms. Now a good backpack is the same basic thing as a white T-shirt and jeans.

They could be seen at the spring-summer shows, and at the recent autumn shows, backpacks were presented to every second designer: Donna Karan combined them with gray knit dresses to the floor, Marc Jacobs with striped institute jackets, and an adherent of sporty chic Alexander Wang - with voluminous jackets. Wang, by his own admission, almost does not remove the backpack from his shoulder - this explains that his favorite piece of clothing comes from his collection to the collection.

The main culprits of the emerging trend, as always, are bloggers and celebrities: Angelina Jolie wears countless toys for children (who don't seem to fit in any bag) in her backpack, Ashley Olsen takes him to parties, Henry Holland and Agnes Dane go to festivals with one backpack for two, and Kanye West in general collects copies from Louis Vuitton.

Those for whom backpacks have long been a necessary part of the wardrobe, and not the trend inspired by Style.com and the choice of Another Magazine, are perfectly familiar with Eastpak. The color diversity of their bags and collaboration with designers such as Rick Owens, Raf Simons and Mark Eley, made Eastpak the main brand of backpacks. But the rest are not far behind: Topshop have produced artificially aged brown leather backpacks, Sportmax - a model in the style of army bags, Sophie Hulme - in blue sequins, and Marni - from faux fur.

Despite the fact that backpacks are no longer news, the hysteria around them continues: individual representatives are written odes, they discuss in forums how they suit modest girls, and Rumi Neely posts photos of his vintage Chanel backpack in a blog.
