What to wear in the next six months: Stylist tips

Spring has changed in summer, summer - in autumn, winter is not far off, and only the crisis is not in a hurry and always spoils our lives. Yesterday we told how to save money on clothes in unstable financial conditions. However, one should not forget that in any incomprehensible situation there are two variants of the development of events: lie down on the bottom or, on the contrary, live like the last time. Our today's material is useful in both cases: we asked stylists about what trends are relevant in the next six months and how to adapt them to the Russian climate, what seasonal things to pay attention to and what to be guided by when choosing warm clothes. In general, if you are ready not to deny anything, the advice of our experts will help you to understand what things are rationally invested in now. If you live in economy mode - many of these recommendations are easy to apply to an existing wardrobe.

In my case, the autumn-winter season almost always comes down to a certain mono-dressing room, namely, a few things that I wear day after day, replacing them with similar ones. Of course, each season makes its own adjustments, and at the moment my priorities are as follows.

Let's start with hoodie and sweatshirts. Now they are especially relevant. Choose base colors, gray or black, and be sure to buy a pair of larger sizes so that they are obviously great. Lowered sleeves are welcome. If you do not like the excessive amount of the thing itself, then make a couple of tucks in the side seams to slightly remove the excess fabric. Do not be afraid to do it in a hurry or even carelessly, it will only add to the charm of things. As a result, you will get not only a fashionable and practical thing, but also a multifunctional one: long sleeves will replace the need to look for gloves every time you go outside, and the hood will eliminate the need to wear a hat, at least for the first time, until a stable low temperature is established.

Over the hoodie will look great voluminous long coat. Ideally, dilute it with some more feminine things, such as knee-high boots with heels or boots, depending on what you combine these things with. It is necessary to build an image on the contrast and contrasting the brutal and the coarse feminine, whether it is a certain thing, color or texture of a separate thing, or just makeup.

It makes sense to think about acquiring a white fur coat is an absolute hit of the approaching winter. An alternative option is a coat with a fur trim, fur cuffs and a collar, ideally made of leather. For inspiration, pay attention to the Céline coat. Do not forget about the presence of good proportions for the first case, and for the second.

There is one more amusing object of desire - these are eighty-nine boots. J.W. Slightly voluminous boot, narrow toe, medium heel, ideal options. Anderson in his collection for the eponymous brand. Based on insider information, unfortunately, they were not released in production. Find similar ones, preferably in color - be sure to take a look. For the time being, I am in search of my couple, methodically and consistently tracking receipts for Avito, as well as an assortment of vintage stores I meet. There are certain difficulties with the size, but I hope that there is still a pair. I'm sure they will cheer me up.

And I also want to note the decorations. It is necessary to accept the fact that we are finally morally ready for excess. Massive long earrings in both ears, rings on all fingers, glasses, headbands, tiaras, hairpins - all this can be worn at the same time in the amount that allows you your sense of proportion. All you need is to trust your taste and enjoy the process itself.

Gothic or modern interpretation of the Victorian era, the 80s and 90s are the closest to my mood. From materials it is worth paying attention to latex and patent leather, from wardrobe items to turtlenecks, jackboots, men's suits and leather miniskirts. The main color I would call one of the most commercial at all times - deep blue, what is called "navy".

Treads - the perfect shoes for our weather, and paired with mini skirts - a real salvation. The main thing is to choose models with a low or wide heel or a grooved sole. I see no reason not to wear dresses in a linen style in our climate - paired with a voluminous cardigan or sweater dress, from which a lace hem will look out. Turtlenecks are also considered an absolutely universal thing, which eliminates the need for a scarf and allows you to wear spring dresses with short sleeves (or even without them) and an open line of shoulders, even in winter. A voluminous, masculine style can be worn on top of a dress, and a thin one made of high-tech material - under it.

The truth of life is that a priori winter things can not be cheap. I refuse to torture myself with synthetics. Although shoes from modern materials can also be found in Topshop: it will not be a pity to say goodbye to shoes at the end of the season, as well as wearing them in mud and snow soaked with reagents. In Uniqlo it is worth buying thermal underwear and all the same turtlenecks - specially designed modern fabric retains heat. Hyper fashion items can also be chosen from a mass market, such as lace turtlenecks and latex midi skirts.

Yes, in summer everything is much simpler: a pretty dress or a T-shirt from Zara - why not? In winter, on the contrary, it makes sense to focus on high-quality fabrics: wool, cashmere, leather - which are rarely found in the mass market, and if they do, they are sometimes not worth the financial investment. I always remember the famous phrase “we are not so rich to wear cheap things,” and during the crisis it seems to me more relevant than ever. In my opinion, in the fall it is wise to invest in a good coat or an expensive sweater, and also once a season in a quality bag.

I myself, frankly, already making orders for the summer. And the main purchases of this season have already made. Among them are a pair of Jimmy Choo boots, a Maltseva Style cashmere coat and a silk autumn Litkovskaya. What is missing is the bag, but it is on the way.

In the autumn-winter period, everyone becomes boring. I do not know the exact statistics, but it is safe to say that 90% of the streets choose simple laconic things of dark shades. The main problem is that under the endless super-thick down-padded coats and multi-layered black coats, everyone also chooses black. But to change the situation is quite easy.

Trends are known to move from season to season. For the second year now I can’t take my eyes off the 70s. A wide flared, of course, is not about winter at all, but here are small airy dresses on thin turtlenecks, prints, textured fabrics, layering and, at the same time, a simple cut - what I like the most. Definitely one of the most important shows that inspired the majority of mass-market brands to create autumn-winter collections - Chloé. These images are quite romantic, but I love them precisely because they easily adapt to everyday life.

The only thing I would buy from the original Chloé collection is a bag. The rest is easy to find from brands such as H & M, Zara, Uterqüe, Mango, Marks & Spenser. Here, in essence, the main thing is to consider the collection, to be inspired and to style the right thing that you already have. For example, a favorite blouse with a long narrow silk scarf - you will find exactly the same on the shelves in the same Zara.

If I was asked what kind of thing you need to buy exactly this season - definitely a turtleneck, the noodle knitwear looks the coolest. In general, the modern 70s is about sensation: do not forget to ruffle your hair, the snow will help give them the right texture, and thanks to the frost you will get that same natural blush. One of my favorite chips is a transparent lip gloss with a slight shimmer, I put it on not only for its intended purpose, but also on a mobile eyelid.

Russian winter is a broad concept for me: for example, winter in Surgut and winter in Moscow are two completely different Russian winters. For Moscow, I think, everything is applicable, if you: a) move with a personal driver; b) ready to sacrifice their own comfort. Sometimes it seems to me that the only thing applicable to Moscow’s cold weather is angler’s rubber boots combined with wool socks and fleece.

From everything that somehow hooked me in the autumn-winter shows, I can single out Gucci and THE ROW. Marni - I love, Céline - always perfect, Lemaire - also in favorites, they make things of some kind of irresponsible beauty. At the same time, I am sure: the main trend is the basic things of high quality. All these strange and highly fashionable dresses with embroidery, made of neoprene and python look indecent and irrelevant. I love tight cashmere scarves - they always save, no matter how dank. I am wrapped in them in the manner of museum attendants and happy with that. Well, and my downy park - in my opinion, nothing more convenient simply does not exist!

This fall, designers are concerned about our health, so we strongly recommend wearing unusual tights and socks. Who, if not the mass market, saved and continues to save us with its abundance of hosiery? I can assume that many people simply consider it inappropriate to purchase these things for a lot of money, which means they will go for the tights in the mass market.

Another necessary thing, without which it can not do in the cold - gloves. I am sure that there will be those who come to their senses at the very last moment or will finally get tired of tolerating pimples on their hands. This accessory in the fall can be safely combined not only with outerwear, but also with jackets and dresses, not caring about the style, - the scope for stylization is endless.

Some items of this fall have already attracted attention, such as berets, turtlenecks or frilly collars. It seems to me that belts deserve no less attention: there were a lot of them at the autumn-winter shows. Personally, I like the tone that is set by large things and reptile skin for several seasons in a row.

It is worth saying that this autumn-winter season is deeply sympathetic to me with its polarity: here you have both a gothic theme, and infantilism, and the 80s from the 70s. Such a vigorous mix to me, definitely, to taste. But, it is worth making a reservation, exclusively as a stylist, since your “pillars” have already been found and studied.

If we talk about the Moscow capricious weather, which then torments the bitter cold, then sharashit plus in January, then immerses in the dirty muck to the knee, then arranges an attraction in the form of freezing rain - and then there are practical solutions that do not diverge from podium trends. For example, voluminous blown down coats, similar to huge quilts, are wonderful options for Vetements: once you buy one, you'll wrap yourself in it until retirement.

If Vetements models seem very nostalgic (hello, 90s), Gareth Pugh has come up with a luxurious gothic version - a black, exaggerated hoodie with a hood. Finding such a thing is difficult in the mass market: there is a chance to become like a 12-year-old in a Chinese down jacket, so there is either everything or nothing. But inexpensive brands have good sweaters “for warming” - for example, I like simple gray coarse-knit wool in COS and & Other Stories.

I have already made my main purchase of the season - it is brutal, more similar either to rubber or to kersey boots Ann Demeulemeester: tall, knee-high, completely unkillable. I absolutely cannot save money on shoes at all, but this pair is definitely an investment, comparable to a successful trading deal.

I dress myself terribly blithely: forever without a scarf and gloves, which are filled with a chest of drawers in the hallway. But in fierce cold I believe only natural fur: fluffy, shaggy and really warm. I wear my favorite raccoon fur coat to minus 35, considering that under it there may be a silk dress on the straps, and I like to wear a white fox in the spirit of the 90s - with boots, high-waisted jeans, a cap and a short sweater.
