Pi number: New York stylist and her jacket collection

Fashion Passion is a stream about the most sincere form of fashion dependence: collecting. The materials of the stream include the most interesting collections of London and New York and the latest trends in fashion capitals of the world.Materials prepared with the support of eBay - the world's main shopping platform for those who follow the fashion.

The collection began a few years ago by itself. I just love jackets, and at some point they accumulated so much that I started to collect them. I dream of some rare specimens, but they still can not afford.

My latest purchase is a flaky 1970s light jacket. It was bought on the Internet for a very good price. Now I plan to buy a jacket in the style of the 1960s: short, with a narrowed sleeve and a bright print - they have become very popular lately. The 1960s - my favorite time, I love albums of TheRolling Stones of those times.

In New York, everyone dresses as he wants. Vintage is popular - people skillfully combine it with new things. Local style influenced me. After moving to this city, I became more relaxed in choosing clothes and began to pay more attention to personal comfort.

Dirk van Saene is a Belgian designer who not only makes clothes. This jacket, made of thick wool, gave me a girlfriend. It is very convenient to wear it in winter under outerwear.

Somehow on the set of a video in Paris, I needed to find things for the main character, and I bought this jacket. More precisely, I bought it for her, but with an eye to what I will keep for myself. I loved him so much that I wear it even now, when it is already cold to walk in it. He is from the 1970s, and he has a deliberately long collar, which is typical for jackets of that time.

Gordon of Philadelphia. Jacket late 1970s. Wildly convenient and practical. The same jacket that I ordered on the Internet not so long ago. He has roomy pockets, you can not carry a handbag.

It seems to me that someone sewed it for himself, because there are no tags on this jacket. I found it at Beacon's Closet in New York. I often buy second-hand: it seems to me that so many beautiful things have already been done in the world that for a thousand years all the inhabitants of the Earth cannot bear them. And there is some kind of love in them; one feels with trepidation all fabrics and buttons were selected - it is very pleasant to walk in such clothes.

Ralph Lauren. Wonderful thing. It comes from the 1980s and is made from llama wool, therefore it is very warm. Unfortunately, there are not original buttons on this jacket - I plan to buy them separately and alter them.

Boy. by Band of Outsiders. I bought this jacket in my favorite Rehab Shop - the only store in Moscow where I buy something when I am there. It is made of cotton, so it is indispensable on cool summer evenings. This brand is famous for its jackets: they are well-cut and perfectly fit the figure. I am sure that in 2040, fashionistas from all over the world will chase them. I also like the lining in white and blue stripes - such thoughtful little things and distinguish good things, in my opinion.

Jose. This leather jacket is a survivor of my collection. Thing indispensable, neubivaemaya and fits everything. We experienced a lot of fun revels with him. In a word - a friend.

I love Mick Jagger very much, and this jacket is just the personification of his style. This is a thing of the 1970s, and I think he experienced a lot. He has a classic cut for the time, and he, as expected, on two buttons. Velvet didn’t wear out much - the previous owner took good care of him.

Butte Knit. This jersey jacket is made in the 1960s. I found it in a favorite store in Brooklyn, there they sell a lot of nice junk. It is interestingly tailored, tuck processed by the old technology - now it is not sewn.

Mark is forgotten, but it does not matter. Compared to others, this jacket is quite modern: these were popular a couple of years ago. I want to save it, will remind me of this time.

Ashish. Bright - otherwise you can’t tell. I have never even worn it yet, and it hangs with a tag - but the collection is just a collection, some things can be just for contemplation. I think the moment will come in my life when I look at him and understand that this is exactly what is needed today.
